Hi!

First successful plant - white widow - she's at 8 weeks (56 days) flowering as of today.

Have had to tie a few of the cola's up they have been getting heavy and and weighing down some of the stems. I dont have access to a microscope :/ does she look ready? if not how long

Some of the small buds near the bottom of the plant have also taken on a amber hue, and 100% orange hairs, even though buds near the top have few orange hairs.

Main cola was also bent(not shown) there is a fair bit of it

Thanks and appreciated

looks great man. congrats on your first bud!!

i'm seeing a lot of the pistols are still white and without seeing your trichs, to me, i'd say you have a week-10 days before final flushing.

They look very nice! Congrats on a successful first grow. I grow WW and simply love it. I let mine flower for 70 days. I have cut some at 63 days but I like'em to get about 30% amber and that takes 70 days. As far as the pistils turning brown...my WW started turning brown at about 42-47 days. Thats not a real good indication as to "ripeness". Good luck.

Flowering Time: On both mediums it is suggested to flower (12 hour light) the White Widow for 8 weeks, but 10 weeks will really give you the crystals you are after. We suggest the final 2 weeks of the flowering cycle to turn the lights off altogether - or at least down to 8 hours. This keeps the flowers from regrowth and stresses the plant into giving up its last drop of goodness as crystal to protect the flower.
