White Widow Flowering Day 2 Question

So this is my first grow and I have two WW plants that are about a foot tall. They are soil plants under a 150 Watt HPS light. Yesterday was my first of 12/12 and they have looked great the entire 6 weeks I have been growing them. However, today I noticed yellow tips on the leaves of the plant pictured (Did the best I could with the photo, HPS does not make picture taking easy). Not all of the leaves but several. I was wondering what might cause this and was looking for some general feedback on my plant and pointers for the flowering stage. Thanks.

when taking pics take them when lights are off, give better color to tell what is going on....typically yellow tips are a sign of nute burn....which if its on the tips is not really a worry, just means its a bit hot ....but now they are going into flower so they will use up the nutes faster....oh yah what nutrients are you using? and npk ?

Im not saying that im right, but it could be that the plant is redirecting nutrients to the buds so that they grow properly therefore taking nutrients from the leaves. Also depending on where you HPS lights are it could be hurting the plant because it creates alot of heat. How far away are your lights from your plants? Ive used a lot of websites for help and this one has helped me the most I hope it helps you as well.

I am using MG plant food NPK=15/13/12

Makes sense, could that actually happen already ?. I actually just today moved my light closer on the advice of another poster on this board. I had it about 16 inches above my plants but moved it about 8 inches above. When I was doing that and watering is when I noticed my yellow tips.

Oh, and I didn't want to take pictures during the dark period because I have heard the smallest amount of light can throw off the flowering cycle and cause delays.

nute burn.. did you start using some wack ass bloom food?...always feed nutes @ half or quarter strenth the manufatuers recomendation...its better to under fert. then over fert...way better.. they recomend high amounts of nutes so you use more spend more give them money more..you should keep using your veg nutes up to week two or 3 of flowering then mix veg and bloom nutes for 2 weeks then go with str8 bloom nutes untill you flush..

Yeah, I feed once a week and water twice a week usually. So every other watering is just water.

do it right when lights go off or right before they come on....5min dif will not hurt....its when the light comes on during the dark you don't want to ever do, but a few min just to take pics right before lights on or right when they shut off...just better pics/color that way

Ok, I haven't started any bloom nutes yet but I have been going off the man. suggestions. I guess it is nute burn. Thanks for the tips.

Ok, good to know. I am so paranoid of fucking up lol. Next time I will post some better pics. Actually, this is a couple days ago before I saw the 12/12 switch and yellow tips....

if they are just the very tips it will be ok...couple millimeters is fine just means your at the right amt of nutes, plus they are changing... there going to flowering so they will kinda go a lime green color sometimes....and will look like they are fading but its all part of flowering process....can't wait to see new pics...yah i seen those ones...no worries sure you'll post an updated pic as soon as you can!

Yeah it's just the very tips of my leaves. So, maybe just water the next week or so ? Also, I think I see hairs at the top of both plants but it also kind of looks like new leaves. Not sure. Would I see hairs already ?

its possible...they are of age now, they can show pre-flowers even during veg...usually about 6weeks they can show sex even without 12/12 cycle.

Hairs will be white! if green then just new growth

They looked white to me, and now I am excited !!! Tomorrow I will check again and confirm. Great help as usual Lime, thanks.
