White Widow - micro, LST, CFL, 55 days flowering. PICS

Just wanted some feedback from all you great forum members out there. Here is the low down on my first closet grow:

White Widow feminized (Green House Seed Co.)
Veg Time: 14 days
Flower Time: 56 days as of today (Dec. 29)

Grown under ~220 watts of CFLs (8 bulbs 2700 spectrum, 2 bulbs 6500 spectrum)

LST as soon as it started to flower, at around 3 weeks of age. I have since removed the LST ties to even out the canopy and let the lights get as close as possible.

Soil is a generic organic potting soil, with a mixture of bone meal, blood meal, and a SHIT load of Triple Phosphate. ALL ORGANIC! I didn't measure the amounts while preping the soil, just added a lot of it, as I know it is harder to burn the plant with organic nutes.

Watered with tap water that sits out in a bucket to get rid of chlorine and such. The water had a bunch of crushed Triple Phosphate nutes settled at the bottom, which I stirred up to a nice sludge before the watering which took place once every 4 - 5 days or so.

As of now, it just gets plain water. Never checked the ph while watering, although I know I should have. Doesn't seem to have been a problem though, thankfully. Guess I got lucky! Never used molasses throughout the grow but I know I should have to maximize growth and nute consumption.

Upon inspection of the trichomes under a 60x pocket scope today, most trichs are milky, with a couple rogue amber ones. Almost time to chop!! I'm thinking about another week or so. Maybe Jan 3 - 7th. Sometime around there.

At close inspection, the scent of the flowers are AMAZING. They are SUPER sweet. I'm talking candy sweet. Loaded with crystals, and super sticky to the touch. Buds are very dense.

The first pic was taken 31 days flowering, the second was taken today, 55 days into flowering.

Let me know what you all think!! :weed:

My only questions:
I plan on flushing, but how is that not bad for the plant? Won't it suffer from over watering? How long before harvest should I do it?

Also, do the fan leaves HAVE to turn yellow, or can the plant be done without the fan leaves turning yellow?

Nice looking plant Harry. I wouldn't worry about flushing since it's all organic and you are just using water. Give it time to let the trichs turn amber and when do, the buds will really swell and you will have some kick ass smoke. The WW is one of my person favs'

That's bad advice.

It doesn't matter if its organic fertilizers, it still needs to be flushed.

Flushing won't hurt your plant because you're just doing it once a month or so. If you were constantly trying to give it that much water then yeah its bad and would eventually kill the girl.

Give it a good flush 1-1/2 to 2 weeks before harvest (once most of the trics start clouding is a good time). From there out just give your plant water, no ferts.

Organics does not need to be flushed...

Why would you flush an organic soil grow? There is NO point. Flushing is for Hydro, soil grown organics DONT need it. It does nothing because you cant really flush what isnt there in the first place (salt build up) The soil is alive in organics and flushing will just cause more problems.

....

I really don't get where this misinformation comes from.

The purpose of flushing is more than removing salt buildup from the soil. The buds absorb everything you feed it. Organic or not the buds and foliage build up residuals and chemicals.

All of this is clearly stated in the growing bible.
