wow what a great grow. I have the mini cool cab also so youve given me a lot of good info/ideas. I wanted to know the brand of cloner you used, because as you know the mcc doesnt come with one. theone you were using seemed nice as it had the same clay ball medium as the mcc, I was wondering tho, are the baskets in the cloner the same size as in the mcc res? meaning can you just take the basket from the cloner and pop it right in the mcc when the root pop through or do you have to disturb the root by taking the plant out of the hyroton and reset it in its spot in the mcc?
The small circular cloning thing is called a daisy cloner. You can get it from the same place you got your MCC from for about 8- buxx. The cups are smaller so you will have to physically remove the plant and roots from the cup and transfer them to larger pots. Its a PITA because the roots have to be individually removed from the pots very carefully so to not rip or tear them. I honestly fount the MCC to be literally plug and play. Change the res every 2 weeks. Go out and buy a digital ph meter. Make sure u use good water. ADD MORE AIRSTONES! check ph/ppm every day and wallah! glorious buds that make u look like a pro in 3 months! gl and feel free to ask me questions.

ok thanks. wow our new grow already seems like those things are about to climb out of the cabinet? What would you say would be the best time to start flowering. I was assuming around 4 weeks, im using snow white which i picked intentionally because it stays short. Did you ever top any of your plants? Also thanks for the tip about the airstone lol, i was thinking that the one that came with it seemed small, although i only have three plant right now. So i guess ill try to find one of those long flat aquarium ones that produce a strip of bubbles, what do you think?
Also i have been using my suburban tap water that has a ppm of 300 coming right out, does that mean that when i do my nutes they should be considering 300 as O? Also what was your ppm for your veg state. Thanks, you really have me enthusiastic about this process-i would be so happy with anywhere close to the amount of your last yield!

It all depends on size for me, not so much time. Different gentics will grow faster/slower. So it's hard for anyone to say you should start 12/12 at one given time. I normally like to go 12/12 when my plants aer about 6-10 inches tall... But that is only because i have height restrictions..

I think you should go out any buy atleast one more pump, preferably with more than one outlet. one pump with 3 outlets gives you the opportunity to put airstones under each plant. You cant have too much air. atleast i dont think so.
yes, if your tap reads 300 and you want 1000ppm you would have your solution read 1300ppm.
i dont think where i keep my ppm is the norm. I had my ppm at about 1200-1400 in the veg state. I kept the ppm very very low (100<) when waiting for clones to root. Just about the day the roots were about 8" long i started adding nutes. Like i said most people gradually work in nutes... I've found in my past grows it just wasnt necessary

one thing i was wondering was do you find that the res gets crowded? I only have three plants in there right now but between the pots for each plant, the fogger, the airstone, and the water pump, it seems a little tight. I am about to put a few more sprouts in the middle in a few days, and i think i will invest in one of the flexible tube airstones...what brand is yours again? maybe I can find one on ebay.
I was thinking about using H202, ive read other threads where people say use it and i was wondering if you had. do you think im making a mistake by using the moondust nutes that came with the system? home youre somewhere smoking those beautiful sparkly nugs...

Yes my res gets very crowded too. Wait until they are fully grown and you have 6+ going. Come time to harvest, you'll find you can only fit 2-3 gallons in the res. The roots take up the rest of the room!!!
The brand on the flexible tube im not sure of. Most og your hydro shops will have it. Sometimes i dont even use an airstone or tube. I just put the hose streight from the pump under the plant and let it pump out some big bubbles on it... That way doesnt clogg either.
No ive never uses H2O2 but have heard good things about it.
"moondust nutes"???? I used the flora nova bloom and grow, the pink koolbloom, the vitamins etc.. that they sent with the MCC in my past 2 grows and im doing just fine. So if by "moondust nutes" you mean the aboves listed brands, then YES, use them...properly..

The 2 pictures of the nug make it look dried out. It's definitely NOT dried out. When you touch it its soo sticky.. I cant even roll joints with this bud.. lol

Anyways, I'm doing a grow right now using the PC Planter from the same company, SunlightSheds, with the same strain, White Widow. It's 8 weeks into flowering now, so I started about 4 weeks after you. check out my few other posts to see some pics.
Doesn't this stuff just try ur patience? I had to do it like u and clip a few samples. Hard not to with an empty stash.
One problem I ran into, however, was nute burn. At week 6 or so, I had the ppm up at 1200 with a full reservior (Flora Nova, vits, and KB), the water went much faster then the nutes. So it quickly went up to about 2100 before I found out and topped it with pure water. But then, I still saw yellow burn marks alll over the leaves. oh well, I'll still get a good yield.
My lesson is to use about half the recommended concentration from GH with their FN product.
I hope the ww plant will by done by Xmas! I'll leave some buds out for Santa.

just as a question, what is the N-p-k reading on your bloom nutes?
Specifically, what is you P count?
say you have multiple nutes you put in, what is the total N-P-K?
Blue Berry Cheese, Violator Kush, Hurban poisen, Power bomb, White widdow all in veg. Look GREAT!.
WW, Durban poisen, power bomb and NL in 12/12. They also look great but are huge. Far exceeded my grow cab. Colas are hitting ceiling and bending over (keep in mind ceiling is 6inches ABOVE light... so they'r enot getting good light.
autoflowering dwarfs are just about done and also look great.
