hey guys first post and first grow my seedlings are only about a week old and they are just starting to sprout their second set of leaves, the new leaves that are coming out are well a deep purple

this is happening on my white widow and mazar plants alike...my house is cold right now because my furance is broken so i was thinking it was because of the colder temps

is there anything to be worried about or should i just enjoy the beauty of my perfectly healthy baby girls and their new found color

thanks Alza

dw alot of strains have discolouration on freshly sprouting leafs,

some consider it normal,
some have heart attacks over stressing to much,

wait till the purple ones get a bit bigger say (2 days) from now, they will be lush green again...

It's from the cold, mine are getting it too even at 65 degrees at night, last year too

TRUE.... THERES THE HEAT ISSUE,

TAKE A TEMP CHEK

What range should I maintain for my growroom humidity and temperature?

A humidity and temperature gauge are essential in any growroom. Daytime conditions should be 70-80 degrees without co2, 80-90 degrees with co2 until the last two weeks when daytime temps should be kept between 70-80 and co2 can be reduced to adjust for the lower metabolism.

Night temperatures should be kept above 60 degrees to prevent stress. It is preferrable during flowering to have a night temperature drop of 10-20 degrees to stimulate flowering hormones and reduce stem elongation.

my furance kicked on last night and the purple is practically gone now in less than 24 hours...cannabis is a truely remarkible plant
