Poor is defined by the government as making under 23,000$ a year with a family of 4.

Wealthy is defined as those who make over 200,000$ a year.

$23,000x4=$92,000

So over $92,000 and less than $200,000 is considered middle class for an individual? Quite a small gap these days.

So who makes between 92,000$ and 200,000$ - Small Business Owners, Doctors, Management, Sales, etc...The point is these are actually the people who are considered wealthy, but by government standards they are now the middle class.....hmmm so where are the real wealthy people.....oh its those 'people' as Mitt Romey would declare....The Jp Morgans, the Enrons, the General Electric......Those...."People"...are the wealthy...Lets get one thing straight Mitt...Corporations ARE NOT PEOPLE!

So if you think your middle class you better think again......The middle class is merging with the wealthy. The middle class is not the worker, its not the good old boys down at the plant earning a days living...not like in the industrial age....and what of Unions the supposed hero of the working man in the past? Where do they stand today? Fallen to Corruption...Sitting high up in that thing the democrats like to call the top 2% or the 200k$ + club.

And on the Flip side of all this....if over 200$K is considered wealthy..then doesn't that make the democrats arguments where they throw in that "top 2%" argument a bit irrelevant....If the top 2% is only made up of corporate interests and not real people it kind of throws a wrench in their whole scam doesn't it? Hmm I just had a revalation...The democrats cater to the rich.....just kidding I figured that out a long time ago...Its time you all realize that the democrats are CON ARTIST! (So are the republicans, but I am talking about democrats here)

Shit! We're(my wife, son and i) are poor! In 2003-2008 it wasn't the case, but then the housing bubble popped.

They already don't know what classes to call what, and are mixing company names and human groups up. This is not America, it is ameriKa. And it cannot stand like this. This is not how America was built, and this is not how it will stand. The country has fought for taxes before, and split over property. The government takes our money, and bails out the banks. Then the banks steals your house because your broke. And those who can keep their jobs have to pay TAXES including a social security deposit that they WILL NEVER SEE. The money going to social security right now is being payed to the old people right now. If the program falls apart your screwed. And if the program doesn't fall apart the recession is going to make everyone as poor as in the great depression (and EVERYONE's money is in banks), and the government will just be scrapping all money from stuff like that.
This won't last much longer. It's already pulling itself apart, and some people ;) have plans to help the people slipping through the cracks. And the government is already starting to classify us all together. Drug users, Mexicans (illegal), gang members, black people, bums, poor kids, poor people. Their classifying us all together again. And...



Does anyone remember what happened last time they put all these people in the same category, and began harassing them and making situations worse for them. DOES ANYONE REMEMBER???

I had to take a random drug test at a routine Doctor's appointment the other day. This country is unrecognizable from the one I served nearly 20 years ago.:cry:

Don't worry. The day is coming. America was the number 1 importer of drugs for years. The rest of the world is already confused about us and their standing with us. They hate us and fear us. And we attack our own people for using the drugs we used to openly love.

I'm not on Medicaid or any govt. programs of ANY sort! WTF is my doctor doing piss testing me? Am I out of line here or is EVERYONE trying to nose their way into our lives? Does anybody else see anything wrong with this or am I just especially pissed because I use cannabis? I take pain meds for chronic pain from a severe spinal injury AND I smoke weed. That's it! I don't even drink anymore because the meds I take do not react well with alcohol. I've been going to this doctor for over 5 years now and have no idea if they will just boot me off of my pain meds, even though I take them precisely as prescribed, or if they will just turn a blind eye on it. I'll find out soon enough I suppose.:cuss:

it was your right to refuse the drug test. give up your freedoms and then blame everybody else....

And under normal circumstances I would've refused, but it honestly caught me completely off guard (I'm not even sure I signed anything agreeing to this) and I knew I would've been immediately taken off of my pain meds. Cannabis helps immensely, but unfortunately I must take opioid pain killers to help control my pain. I took my chances and don't even know what the results are yet. I dilluted it with some warm water from the faucet. I figured it would buy me some time to think of a plan, but since I've had a couple of days to think about it, it really pisses me off and I've decided to go with another doctor anyways.

For the record, I wasn't "blaming" anybody. I was simply venting because it surprised me and I honestly didn't know they even did things like this without having reasonable suspicion for abusing your pain meds, like calling too frequently for refills which I NEVER do.

Everyone is trying to get in our lives. Your Dr wants to be able to refuse you medicine for going around his system and smoking MJ illegally legally. It does suck, this is a ridiculous time we live in. But again, it can't last. They are grouping too many people together, and making life way too much harder for them. As a government that's a bad idea. Group them together, and they will group up to solve the problem (the government) Black people and Mexicans already have the spirit (Freaknik and Crossing the border willy nilly), white people just need to get on board and it will be easy for all of America to grasp.

47,000$ is average income for the individual, the *average* - think about that - when over 93,000$ is now the middle class - essentially - that means that damn near everyone is poor by governments standards!! NOT JUST 1/6th as the keep saying, the point is that under 23,000K is poor for an entire family of 4 which we all know is homeless poverty these days, and thats how they come to that 1/6th!!!!! Its more like 2/4th or more!

Does everyone know who Governor/Senator/Congressman(can't remember) Wallace...Or Timothy Leary, Ken Kesey, Abbey Hoffman?

All this is happening again. The 60's,70's and 80's was the new "Baby boom" with all the free love and crazy kids. Things like K2 are becoming popular, which are Research Chemicals. LSD and MDMA were the RC's of their day. And there are a plethora of new and old ones that are still everywhere. Drugs are actually being legalized in some places, which in the future turns into weed becoming illegal in some places. And white people may not fight for rights they don't have, but they'll damn sure fight for stuff that's being taken away.

Things are kinda lining up again. And on top of all this, there are similarities to right before the American Revolution (crazy taxes and no representation for everyone), and similarities to the Civil War (Property is being taken by banks, and the civil war was a property dispute, wrong to say. But to them it was) And guess what???

We're right at the change of an age, we are literally transitioning to the age of Aquarius right now or next year, depending who's astronomy is correct.
