Who has the best Can?

Filter that is. I am in the market for a can filter to go in my room & I have 7 widows stinking up the place. I bought a carbon scrubber a couple of years ago, it resembles a scud missle. It is a fan powered scrubber I bought off e-bay and has never worked that well. I don't want to get burned again. Yes I have tried the DIY filters on here but none has worked out that well. I would like to keep it under 150 bucks if I can. I have a 265cfm Dayton fan hooked up and ready for a filter. Just would like some opinions and personal recomendations PLEASE. Thanks!

At least you replied and I appreciate your honesty. Have had it with this site. I have tried 5 new threads looking for help with somethings and get nothing. I guess I need to post about my GF tearing up my plants or why my humidity drops when I open the grow room door??????? Think I'll head over to ICM.

I just received my Can Filter, as i had exactly the same problem. Waking up to a proper strong smell of widow when your in an apt. isnt that great. The one i got is some euro model by 'Prima Klima'. 24hrs after it was installed you cant smell a thing until you open the g/room door. Result!

Thank you all for restoring my faith that there are good people on this site willing to help. Ganjagoddess do you have the elf filter. From what I have read it looks like a good fit for me. As long as it does what it says. From what I have read also I am afraid a rated can over 265cfm might not work with my dayton. I get the feeling it may not be getting to the 265 cfm mark. It just doesn't seem that strong. So I feel with a lower rated cfm fan i can still feel I am going to get the job done. One last thing do you know anything about the foothill cans. Thanks a mil.

Your fan will be great man.. The slower the air flows through the filter scrubber the better the smell removal is. I run mine a half tthe cfm it is rated for ussually...

Thanks I never thought of that, though it makes since. I just don't want fan working too hard and burn out.
