Who has used Ushio bulbs ?

just looking for fresh feedback...
sorta thinking about either the Ushio red 600W or the Optilume (HPS)
...not even considering Lumatek $$$$

Ushio makes a good bulb, way better than lumatek, but the best is still super hortilux.

I'd just go with hortilux, not much price difference between them and the Optilumes. That being said, I have used an Ushio bulb before and found it performed just fine. Obviously I don't scientifically measure all the shit in my grow, so this is only opinion.

I have always used Hortilux and recently gave the Ushio 600w Super HPS bulbs a try cause I came across a great deal and cannot tell a difference at all. There may be a difference in performance but I cannot see it, seems like a decent bulb IMO.

who knows. I have used sunmax bulbs worked great also sunpulse total shit and plant max shit bulbs. digielux so so bulbs nothing special. hortilux bulbs last

Just picked up my Hortilux super HPS 400w today YES I'm retarded i killed that light and changed immediately. Thank god for the 200cfl shinning on them babies when i killed the other one. Im hoping the hortilux was worth the 69.99 I paid for it

yeah and I did do a lot of reading on other forums, but most of the threads were older...

its the price...I'm seeing the Ushios going for $60 on Prime...can seem to touch a Horti 600 for much under $100

edit ...found it its cheaper than the Ushio and free shipping...no reviews yet tho...and wonder how long it takes to arrive? probably a west coast co
