Harbor freight fishing line siren setup
I had all kinds of triggers and alerts set up last year. Including bubble wrap all around the plants covered in trellis netting so they would trip and make a ton of noise if they did get in. One person made it in last year, but fell in my traps and busted their ass hahahaha. They dropped the couple buds they did manage to clip and ran like hell from the dogs. I think we will be ok this year but I'm tired of the go round. I want people to see, ok those plants have a dang steel cage around them and guard dogs, maybe we should go somewhere else this year. Our neighbors got ripped too last season. It's not easy to be a grower. Hard work and lots of stress.

Sounds like you need to move to the country Mama. We apply the three "S" rule for rippers around here.....
"Shoot"
"Shovel"
"Shut up"

I dont understand......how do ppl know ur growing on ur property? Like ppl know I grow, but they dont know where....or where I live.
I'm surrounded by apartment buildings with a 3 story apartment staring down into my back yard, and I Live downtown near all the shops and restaurants. A stones throw from the police station. By the time they start budding, you can't hide the smell and they are big enough to wave over the fence at anyone who walks by. I'm on a corner with street in front of me, behind me, and on on side of me, with only one part of my property protected by a neighboring property. It sucks but I inherited this house from my grandparents and it has a lot of sentimental value. 6 bedrooms. Just a lousy location anymore and not a very big grow area.

That's the only thing I enjoy about my guerilla patch.. too hard for anyone to get too, never worry about theives. Mind you the extra work guerilla growing really takes a toll on my body.

Shame it has to be this way, just so we can grow our own medication. Put up that fence mama, hell hook some voltage to it, let em have it!
Holy crap you are right about that. I tried gorilla one year and it was HARD! I emptied out a space in the center of a blackberry patch with a natural spring for water. Fighting the thorns, the critters, and the hike in and out was brutal. Hats off to anyone who can make it work.

Rent that house out and move to the country.
I live in Mariposa county, the elementary school my son went to (he's graduating HS next month) was selected to a list of the top 10% elementary schools in the nation (testing scores). I moved here to raise my children. You know that saying "it takes a village to raise a child", that is VERY true here in my community. If my son ever stepped out of line I would hear about it, small community. Yosemite National Park is my back yard too! Yosemite employs thousands of people, so work is near.
.
It's hard to improve on one situation unless they embrace the thought of change, and "what" could be. Much tougher to take that chance when your children are involved, but it happens everyday.
Come on up and visit the Treeman this summer. I'll give you and the family a tour of the area I live. The board of supervisors addressed the Pot Laws in my county, and created their own language. We're allowed 12 plants per patient, 2 patients per parcel max.
Give it some thought, you and the family would make great neighbors.

That sounds really nice. We have a small property near Lassen that's always been my dream to move to eventually. It has its own little river that runs through it and everything. But the old family cabin that was there burned down so I would need to develop the land before I could move. Big goals but it will happen one day.

Share crop it with someone that can live there 50/50 split. Plug in the plants for them & sit home and collect your cut at the end...(:

So I was a bit worried about a couple of my plants because the first night I put them outside it was not suppose to even get close to freezing but it did..... however they are recovering nicely. Also I have to make ant hill raised beds because of all the rain, but once it dries up 100 additional gallons of soil or more will be added around them. There is a total of 50 gallons of soil above ground that the plants are in now. 20160528_064737.jpg 20160528_064448.jpg 20160528_064340.jpg 20160528_064331.jpg It is a soggy mess in my neck of the woods
