Who Ordered Seeds Recently?

Do you realize how much more seeds DJ would sell if he lowered the price and maybe had his son sell his seeds direct or almost direct from the breeder? For $100 a pack breeder fresh beans I'm good for 5 packs of Blueberry some Flo and others.:weed: :bigjoint:
Our seeds sell for 1/2 the price being suggested on this thread, they sell for 65$ (for a pack of Blueberry, Flo, Cocoa Kush, & Vaniluna) and 55$ (for a pack of Azure Haze & Whitaker Blues). They are packaged 13 to a pack. They can be purchased either directly from me or Dj Short's Old World Genetics @ this price. A representative of Old World Genetics often attends the premiere cannabis cups in California, Colorado, Michigan and occasionally Washington State as well. I'm available in oregon and work with several dispensaries directly.

If seed banks wanna mark up the price 150-200%, there's nothing we can do about that, especially since it isn't us who's giving them the seeds. As stated in the thread I linked to earlier, we do not work with any premier seed bank, so we are not in a position to ask them to lower their price.

For real I got a bunch of different shit together to do an open pollination outdoors just going to kill all the males that ain't nice and take seeds from just the best girls just try that out for a few years see what I get, probably not much off from how they got Skunk#1 and Northern Lights. Just don't let the weak breed should come out great but if not I can buy more seeds. :bigjoint: I got other plots for my sensi buds just want a seed crop see what I can do.
Also, this is perhaps the coolest thing I've read on here yet.

May I suggest if you haven't considered it yet that you select only one male to pollinate your ladies with. Or keep the next generation of breeding inbred. If you can inbreed a strain outdoors for multiple years you will eventually begin making an acclimated strain specific to your region, or a new 'landrace' strain. I think this is a brilliant idea.

One day when I get a piece of property and settle down I'll be doing this.

Damn those are great prices but yall don't mail them huh? Sucks cost $111.90 for everything at Seedboutique and that's on sale probably old as hell too. Do I need a medical card if I got out to the Michigan Cup or I need to go to Colorado? Just a huge difference in the drive Michigan will take all day as is.

Really it is worth a plane ticket for them prices (plus would be nice to see a cup:bigjoint:) that's why I haven't tried Blueberry I wanted a nice selection to see whats really their and possibly breed with it and I really wanted to try him after that one cup he was on stage talking about breeding said he only has F5's like damn he really put some work into it most just sell hybrids even when they have a well selected line. Like MR. Nice they got an F3 G13 x skunk selected to be G13 dominant but he sells that only in crosses I'd rather try the selected one myself. But I'm sure he's just worried about shit like Blueberry so many sell it pure and then all the damn crosses.

His book was pretty good to DJ's like my favorite breeder I haven't tried. lol

I was planning on just making a crazy pollyhybrid and working the best from their not really sure on selecting males never really grew a male out I was mostly just thinking basically landrace with some selection to keep it dank cause New England has about the worst climate could get a hard frost around the end of September but you can grow some good weed outdoors here just not too many good options in seed form some will finish others need to be chopped early or get mold just so many problems cause most of the good shit comes from out west with a way better climate even BC,Canada is way nicer climate wise.

Those are some words of wisdom from the Man himself…… I will piggy back that. Ya DJ didn't become a badass breeder at the game from just throwing a bunch of males out to cross everything willy nilly. Im Not saying your not smart or have a great Idea bro, you would find some good keepers eventually. Heres the deal if you want to specify a certain recessive trait in the chosen male and the chosen female out of 25-100 plants that you have painstakingly worked through to find that special phenotype that you know is the TITTS for a tailored strain by you. Then acclimate it to that specific region in the world which is creating a local Land Race power house strain. Do this again the next few years with the new seed stock same choice female and same choice male out of that new stock allot of people think its just fun times pollinating and getting good quality F1s that are gonna be hooking them up with badass plants but theres a bit more going on than that….LOL I like F2s, their a little less work to find the sweeties.:weed:
So when we take a indoor cross and grow it outdoors it will try its best adjusting to the new climate and everything which usually it does a good job but its never the best it can be. You take the time to recross a strain in the same geographical area 3-6 years in a row same everything and nutrients of course weather patterns are gonna fluctuate a little year to year but the majority of everything is the same. This is exactly how you become a badass and bless the Cannabis community like DJ Short did with his amazing Blueberry and Flo. Thanks DJ you will always be one of the forefathers that set the stage for great genetics. BTW Oregon is the JAM I love me some Ashland.:peace:

I was recently reading an article on how cannabis is specially respondant to regions and the hemisphere I believe it was. And how according to the higher altitudes such as mountains are where you could basically plant a bag seed and instead of it coming out regular grow, up in thr mountains it would come out in about three different colors. And the thc resin is off the charts. No CBD or any other function besides THC. You come across info such as this?...

I can't say that I have. But it's logical for the high elevation to induce certain genetic traits that wouldn't be as apparent at lower elevations, no?
