Haha, I sent back a lumi ballast years ago to the manufacturer. They didn't wrap it all when they sent me a new one. Said 600w digital ballast on it.
Mine hasn't be awful, but it's also one of the few out there that are 3x5...

That isn't the same thing as providing discreet packaging by default. TBH all items should be sent in generic packaging, regardless of the contents. That way no one in the delivery chain knows what is in the box. I have a couple of pieces of high end electronics go missing in transit because the sender used branded packaging, Apple spring to mind here.

I am one of the dozens of people that don't live in the USA. Where I am sat the cultivation of cannabis has a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison. If I am not in do I want a box that says "grow lights" or "cannabis seeds" on it handed to my busy body neighbour?

That is an 120 mile round trip for the honour of paying nearly double for whatever I want.
I average 12mpg and gas is over $6/gallon - and an hour of my time is worth significantly more than that (according to my employer); I still drive to the dispensary a few times a week rather than have the delivery driver at my door... call me a curmudgeon, but I don't want someone making minimum wage knowing I received $400+ rosin; it's unsettling enough knowing the pharmacy tech have my address - and how much of the REALLY good stuff I may have.
12mpg only in America. My car does 83mpg. $6 a gallon is basically free of charge. It is double that in the UK. I am not wasting 3 hours of my time to go to a shop that sells nothing I want or need at double the price. My nearest grow shop sells only the "cannabis" brands which were a rip off before he doubled the price.
