So I have this plant that was doing amazing then all of a sudden started to break down. Bad but the worse thing is she decided to do this days before flower. Now this is a week later and three days into flower. The plant is yellowing but it does not seem to be subjected to one part of the plant yellowing is throughout the whole plant.

pH is 6.6
PPM 690 *originally was 1950 nothing was wrong with her but I decided to check the run off next time I fed her. Once I did that my run off was nearly 2000 I freaked and lowered it to 500 that's when all my problems began the leaves started fading in color. So next feeding I boosted it to 1200 but no difference plants continued to go from fade green to yellow. So I lowered from 1200 to 690 but no positive changes.
Medium some Soil triple mix from hydro store
Watering Only when bone dry
Lighting 480w of LEDS
Nutrients Jungle juices version of the Lucus formula, Grozyme, Aquashield, superthrive, magical, and pyro clay.
Temp 70 min 80 max usually 75f
Air flow dyson type vertical fan on eco setting simulates natural wind fluctuations in power
RH 50 - 70 depending on day if its raining out or I just watered my RH peaks
Plant age 2 months been topped
Water tap water filtered to 000 tds

Anything else needed let me know..

Thought I had fungus gnats.. searched the first inch of soil placed a potato slice on my soil and even removed my plant from the pot and examined the roots (without disturbing the root ball) and no sign of larvae. I saw what I believe was a fungas gnat flying in my closet. Looked like a mosquito a little smaller but had no needle nose. I check my box twice a day min and that was the first time I had seen it. Needless to say a squashed it. I think it was a rouge gnat that got into my place and I killed it. Plus it couldn't mate on its own. Anyways I am stumped on what is causing my plant to start dying.

Here are some photos:

Looks like Mag def...if it was me, I would get some Epsom Salts and add a half table spoon per gallon to my next watering/feeding...peace

I thought it was mag def. as well I was sure of it I mixed up some light dose cal/mag to foliar feed and misted the whole plant top and underside of the leaves and I see no positive change. I also add magical in every feeding which makes things peculiar. My leaves now seem to be burning for some reason even though it was doing fine a month ago and half the size on upwards of 1200 ppm. Now at half I see burning leaves but not all leaves are burning..:wall: so confused!

I only followed the instructions given to me by my hydro shop guy he also tends a commercial medical grow op so I figured he was credible he said only water when they tell you they are thirsty when the leaves start to lower instead of point up they are thirsty mine only do that when its bone dry.

Man it sounds like you're loving it to death...lol...I mean no offense, but you're doing/giving/loving/feeding too much, and you're worried about stuff that makes no difference in a healthy soil...I suggest you leave it alone for awhile and just give it water...plain tap water set out for no less than 6 hours, open cap to evaporate the chlorine in it.
You know I'd just get some good soil and add 1/4 cup garden lime to a 5 gal bucket (full bucket) and not worry about it...the lime will balance your PH and the soil should grow her for you for at least 2-3 months, then transplant...that's all I do, except I use Miracle Grow Potting Soil with Miracle grow Perlite and Miracle Grow nutes :o  OMG...not MG...yeah MG...

lol thats probably the case. ill just give her plain water for the next couple weeks see what happens. should i add the epsom salt tho? what pH do you set your water at?

when you feed your plants with nutrients:

IF the soil is super dry, you have to water first WITHOUT nutrients.

Then apply nutrients only when the soil is a bit wet.

If you feed with nutrients on a dry soil, you can only burn roots, shock the plant.
maybe your soil doesn't lack anything, it is just a result of the shock.
Then the plant doesn't have access anymore to the whole food.

I'd just water for the next 2 waterings and see how she does, if it continues then add Epsom salts the 3rd time, but remember don't do too much at once, it takes 2-3 days to see what the results of just water will do...And lol, I don't PH my water, I add 1/4 cup garden lime to a 5gal bucket of soil, mix it in real good and water it...yep just the soil  to mix the lime in real good...that buffers my PH to a useable level no matter if it's high or low ...and "my" feed schedule runs 2 waterings then a feed, and I repeat that, and I might add that I water/feed so that I ALWAYS get a little run off so I know I've washed out the old and let the new takes it's place...peace bro

Went back and re-read some of your post...and I see a big problem...you're choking it by spraying the underside of the leaf especially with nutes...Stomata - they are responsible for controlling gas exchange (oxygen and carbon dioxide) in and out of the leaf...so when you spray them with a foreign substance (in this case your nutes) it constricts these openings and causes your plant to act like it's being choked...I never foliar feed and I had some nice harvests...here's my last HID grow in subs supersoil...

Holy cow! I expected to see a 6 foot plant after reading your list of nutes and feedings.

I think you just threw way too much at them too fast. With a decent soil mix they just need good water for the first month. Doing much more than that can be counter-productive. Less is more for young plants!

I've had Lemon Larry OG cuts grow fine with 2.8-3.2 ec, lowered it and they got hungry.
How much is that converted to ppm? But then if that's the case why she burning at around 700.. Stumped.

Thanks man I can see from the photos that I should not take your advice lightly. Respect bud :).

Well, then I must of choked her ass out lmao. I only did it once after seeing what I believed to be mag def. Worsening regardless of the fact I had watered with magical. I'm going to take your advice as stone. The last couple days I haven't touched anything. Honestly I can't tell if its getting worse or better to be honest when I finish work I'll post some new images and you guys can be the judge.

I'm just paranoid I'm starving her. I just can't see how she can be defecient after all the crap I through at her unless I locked her up. I wish there was a definitive test I could run so I would know without a doubt. But oh well time will tell if I do take a loss at least it was a freebie despite the time and money I put in it.

I'll tell ya, I personally don't recommend flushing, but if you have a salinity build up, you may have to...A healthy plant with proper nutrition IMO doesn't need flushing, because it's getting 10% run off when you water/feed and any salinity build (old stuff) up goes out the bottom of my pots when I just water, and I water-water-feed, so I know I have washed out the old and ready for the new....And also you will know if you are starving her, she will droop BAD to tell you she's hungry for WATER first and food second, so don't over do it with the nutes....they say to start off small, that's so your plant can get used to them and see if she likes what you're feeding her...some plants like different nutes...I shouldn't say this after using supersoil, but all I use now is Miracle Grow products, they're cheap and very effective for MJ...some people will say it's doesn't have the right stuff for "good" MJ...MJ will grow in horse manure...so I say :finger: to all the MG haters ...here's MG at work with NO NUTES ADDED...so far...

018.jpg ...4 weeks into flower...and still no nutes given yet...MG baby, cheap but effective.............................
