whole room carbon filter

I will have 3 4x4 tents going and instead of a carbon filter attached to each I want to have one large one scrub the entire room. I will also be hanging and drying in the room outside of the tents, so there is more reason to want to scrub the air outside of the tent. How large of a carbon filter and fan combo will I need?

I will be sucking air from one side of the attic and exhausting it on the other side of the attic to cool the bulbs down. All of the smell should remain in the room though.

Your hoods exhaust smell because they are not 100% air tight, keep that in mind. As far as the scrubber, it sounds like you'll have a fair amount of plants with 3 tents? I would go with a 10" to 12" with a matched inline fan.

I don't even have them set up yet. It just seems retarded to me to hook an individual fan/scrubber combo to each tent rather than just scrub the whole room. Especially since I will have large quantities of dry bud hanging and drying in the room.

I will probably have around 30 plants. I am legal for 36 now. The plan is 9 in flower in one tent, 9 in flower in another tent, and 4 mothers in the last tent. I will hopefully have another set of 9 clones already rooted and ready to place in the tent as soon as harvest comes. I am still playing it by ear. My current set up is in a different location and this number of plants seems like it will worked based on scaling up what I currently do.

Anyone else have any input? Does a 10" sound right? I would rather go too big than too small. I could always put it on a timer so its not running all the time, or operate variable speed so it's not running as much air through too.
