Who's got some free time and wants to help me design my new room?

Whats happening guys and gals, Im starting a new project and would love somebodys help with design.
I am a new grower. Only ever attempted a few times in the past, in closets/homemade boxes ect.
Recently is the first time I've grown right to the end of flower, currently in day 45.
For the plants I have now, I made a shitty little box out of plywood in the back of a storage closet. I will post pictures of that later, its insignificant really tho cuz it will be dismantled shortly.
The old lady wants some storage back, but I refuse to give up my grows so we compromised and I split the closet in half with a false wall, lil guillotine door set up behind the movable storage unit (pictures to come as well)

Turns out that my house used to be used for growing and has many left over set ups including some kind of ventilation (currently not working) and lucky for me it happens to be in my side of the closet, so that should come in handy when designing the new room.

I have noticed the outside of my house stinks like weed, so this vent must be leading to the attic and out the roof, Im guessing I should invest in a carbon filter?

Lets get down to business tho, the space I have for my grow is as follows

4 feet wide, 3'5" deep, 7 feet high.
I have about 200 watts worth of 23 watt cfl aswell as a 200 watt sunblaster cfl for my veg, I have the same set up for my flower, but in addition I have a 150 watt Hps.
I plan to probly only use the 200 sunblaster for the new veg room
I have some small fans running, and I have about 3-4 computer fans not currently hooked up that could be used if neccesary.
I got 2 timers, and 2 outlet boxes with 4 sockets.. tons of powerbars/extention cords if neccesary

I will take pics of all the gear and post them as well.

What I would like out of the room -

I want it set up for veg and flower "rooms" (possibly build a table, have the veg on top and blooms underneath?) I think scrog methods would be my best bet. and would like to do up to 4 or so plants at once if possible.

I will definately need help with setting up air into the room and venting it out, as well as dealing with this smell already coming out.

Give me a few and I will have pictures of everything so you can better understand what im working with and hopefully give me an idea of what I need to do!!

Thanks in advance!

(in retrospect I should have dis-assembled my old box and got everything out and then set up/built in there before I put this new wall in hahaha cuz its gonna be a BITCH getting the wood out of the new room now, as well as any kind of table or what have you, into the room.. lol I am a fool, I know.. so help, please hahaha)

pics will help

how much bud do you want?
what are the min/max temps there?
can you drill holes in walls floor or ceiling if needed?
starting from seeds or clones?
budget?

Okay Im bout to get out the saw and chop up this old box so I can remove it from the new space.. Ill post a little photo journal of what im working with so you all can get a better idea..

I can only upload 10 pics at a time so I will need a few posts. First we will start with the old box, and pics of the current gear. This was all powered by extention cord running out to another room, until I re-wired the boxes which you will see shortly.

old box, new wall starting, those blankets arent usually there btw..

So that is what is currently happening. The ladies are almost finished flowering and these 4 are just starting, I also have 4 different strains starting in another cabinet. This box will be dismantled really soon and I will need help with the new set up!!! I will upload more pictures momentarily. Again this was all run on an extention cord to one outlet in another room, next pics will show the new outlets.

im uploading more as we speak.

Its been getting up to 30+ with lights on, gets really cold at night right now, i keep a small space heater on in short bursts to warm thru out the night.
The 2 big girls were started from seed, almost done, the 4 smaller ones were cloned from them.
I have 8 or so different strains in another cabinet, from seed, 4 of which have sprouted and are growing the 3rd set of leaves.
I can drill holes and have already.. and the more I explored this house, it has already been brutalized by the past tenants who grew in here.
Not much of a budget, Im kind of a DIY kind of guy but I will spend the money if needed. (if i cant find a way to make it myself)
& how much bud? as much as humanly (botanically?) possible with the space/light provided

This next set of pics will show the old grow room left overs I found in the attic, as well as some re-wiring I did to move the electrical outlets, and the construction of the new wall (which i already regret cuz its gonna suck getting the old box out lol)

These were the boxes in the closet originally but they didnt have any power so I ran the electrical cord, then I went into the attic and found the connections and re-connected em, they worked, so I tore ceiling off and threw them over to the other side of the closet where my new room is located.

This next set of pics shows the vent in my side of the room and where it leads too.. the box/fan thing it connects to doesnt work right now, It powers up but only buzzes periodically, it doesnt spin, blow or suck air.. 12355277_1029908067050829_1680957498_n.jpg 12355281_1029908197050816_818278516_n.jpg 12380282_1029576783750624_397299914_n.jpg 12348656_1029576810417288_1115193112_n.jpg

And then finally we have a shot of the wall, door will be on soon, first im gonna tear the old box out.

I don't have much experience with diy builds like this and have always been a bit pit off by how varied the quality of light and air movement they seem to provide.

Saying that, this has potential and you appear to be pretty knowledgeable and practical.

If you don't mind I'll tag along for the ride.

Only bit i would suggest is to not skimp on the basics. Light, fans, filters.

use the thumbnails option for the pics, makes it easier to look at them
ah shit sorry bro, wish i saw that before I uploaded these.. ill take more once the old box is out so you can get a better idea of the space available. hoping these will be good enuff to start.

I wanna flower & Veg about 4 plants (more if possible) all in the same room.
ventilation is my main concern.
a nice set up/lay out design for best lighting/venting/ease of access, would be much appreciated.
Any and all input would be great tho!

Thanks guys!

Yup, definitely not afraid to get stuck in.

Are yo the going to get an rkv and filter?

Could prob field go 400w light on as well if you can control the temp.

Yea I dont plan to skimp on anything this time around. I want to do it up proper. With that said, If I can save money and build something myself I will. I've seen lots of great DIY carbon filters for example. Im not sure about how great they work but I'm the type of guy that will try that first before investing 500 or however much ect ect.

Far as ventilation, im lucky that this closet is in a back laundry room with a door leading outdoors so for the most part ive just been leaving both doors cracked a bit to allow air flow, and have fans/holes cut in the box... but now that im eliminating the box and have the wall build, I need some serious venting/air flow in there..

RVK? thats an inline fan right? im new to this shit really, ive grown a few times before but it was either outdoors or small lights and venting was never a concern.. I know a tiiiiny bit about carbon filters, but I know nothing about setting them up

Can get away with a passive intake but a good rkv or similar is essential imo, no matter how diy you want to go.

Edit. Yeah an rvk is just an inline fan. Crucial to have good air exchange in small diy grows.

From what I've seen on here, that's normally what causes poor results.

That's just a filter from the looks of the link.

Genuinely, you should have a quick read up on basic grow room set up. You might not incorporate everything but you should be aiming for as close to optimal conditions/set up as possible.

Hopefully someone with a little more experience of setting up a grow box like this will chip in.

Bet there's tons of little nuances and pit falls to look out for.

Most definately, my main concern is the venting/proper air flow..

I would really like to get that box/fan thing in the attic working.. i think it sucked air out and filtered the smell, there is square like air filter things that slide into the box, and old ones laying around, that mustve been what they used for the smell.

they look something like these and slide into the bottom of the box

https://www.google.ca/search?q=range+filter&espv=2&biw=1455&bih=686&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjCiIzszt7JAhVKwGMKHSFFC4IQ_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&q=air+filter&imgrc=TekVdBd8rXTjlM:

anyone out there with tips on how to get it working? like i said previously, i plug it in and it powers up but only buzzes periodically.. doesnt pull air out at the moment
