that's about where I am (not) really 10days on 12/12, and they were just itching to sex. I'm gonna wait a few more days, just concerned its balls to bust of pollen
 
All you who have never gotten high on leaves weren't around in the 60's & 70's. Before someone figured out that preventing the female from pollenating produced more powerful, and larger buds, thats what we smoked. We grew plants, and when they were ready, we plucked them outta the ground. We then hung them upside down and dried/cured it. The upper 1/3 of the plant became smoke. The buds were of course the best part, but the leaf was considered good too. There was no "one hit" dope back then. You smoked a joint and got high. Good pot was when 2 or 3 people could smoke a joint and get high.

Of course, back then a lid (Ounce or thereabouts) went for 10 for mediocre, to 20 for great. And it was seedy as hell alot of times. A good bag had very few stems or seeds.

When they figured out that eliminating pollenation created bigger and better bud, folks must have gotten pickey, and ignored anything but the buds. I remember when 1 hit weed hit my area. i actually preferred the leaf. I could enjoy a smoke, get high, (Not obliterated) and have fun. Like was mentioned, it's really smooth and has a great effect. I am looking forward to harvesting this grow. You can bet your ass I ain't tossing anything. ('cepting stems!!) Buds are great, but there aint nuthing wrong with the upper leaves.

And you can get high on males. You gotta smoke more of it, but you will get a buzz from it!

that shits crazy... my dad said he bought his first pound for 80 bucks back then lmao...

its hard enough finding an 80 dollar ounce of schwag nowadays

and ive definately hear of using male leavs to get high... no smoking them, but mixing them in for cannabutter... i mean theres still sum thc in em just not as much as a female...
 
whoever says you cant get high off of male leaves is wrong, they do have low thc but you just need to smoke enough yesterday i chopped down a male plant and did a few waterfall/gravity bongs and got totally blazed and i do have a pretty high tolerance as well

and no its not because I cut off oxygen supply to my brain thats a crock of bs, this is from some bagseed i smoked and its the exact same high except i even got more blazed this time but i did have to smoke alot
and no i didnt even get a headache

I get better results smoking the leaves then making a gram of hash...


Anyway,i suggest and recommend people try it out.
It even burns evenly if the leaves are crushed.

It doesnt make me sick
The high lasts for an hour.

I guess it gives you a little preview of what the finished product will be like.

Could it depend on the strain?

In india they make a drink called Bhang. its crushed up leaves stems and seeds maybe a bit of bud depending on quality of bhang. its supposed to be the lowest quality weed left over skuff made into a tea with milk and tea leaves sometimes with other spices (chai). and yes it gets you a nice buzz. THC isn't the only active cannabanoid in marijuana don't forget that. Ever brewed your left over leaves with grain alcohol?

I personally wouldn't smoke leaves simply cause the taste of chlorophyll grosses me out. but making teas and food with it is great. Just remember you need a fat base for any cannabanoid to bind to as most are not water soluble. so you need milk in your tea or butter/veg oil in your food.
 
also the word ganja comes from india to mean the potent flower. considered the top quality part of the plant (obviously).
 
I haven't heard it called 'a lid' in years! Years ago I grew mostly indoors; I had some Afghan bagseed - no internet to buy seeds from :(- anyway, I would pull up the males out of their pots as soon as I could see balls.

Then I hung'em upside down in a friend's closet- while the males were still slightly moist, I rolled them into little paperless sticks - each stick sold for one dollar.

In fact, they were all the rage... Go figure.

this is stupid ive smoked my female leaves dried rolled up and nothing but my head hurting and wanting to smoke more then i did 4
