Thats an interesting thought, I wonder what the knowledge of one intelligent person today is equal to in Aztec or Egyptian intellectuals.
I admire "the ancients" because they really were no different from us, except for the knowledge in their heads. And how the knowledge that they had was in a completely different context than it is now. I realize with my knowledge that worshiping the trajectories of the planets is dumb, but there's an aspect to it I find interesting. It seems like they lived "closer" to the world [at least some aspects of it] in my opinion.

While the wheel and fire are indeed important scientific advances, they are hardly 'everything we ever really need to know'. First it would depend on what you mean by 'need', I would say the need to explore is something most humans strive to meet, the wheel got us there on Earth, but it won't get us into space. What about germs and diseases? If we didn't know anything about that, most of our population wouldn't survive past infancy.
There will always be things that are unknown that we 'need' to know and should work towards discovering

The internet is funny because people think they can look anything up and all of a sudden have this knowledge of it.
Lots of information never made it to the internet, and a shit-ton never even made it into books.

Because I know everything. No but really is that a serious question? The internet is a huuuge reservior of information, some bullshit some not. But some things are never written down and are only passed down orally, books get destroyed, etc.
and I agree that even if we experienced another "stone age," it wouldn't be a stone age for long. We already know how to farm, generate electricity, irrigate water, etc.
I don't know what knowledge you hold, but a lot of the ancient civilizations knew a lot about the plants around them, and it seems that no one knows much about their environment anymore. we have grocery stores.
