could be a few things in dwc. but if u can answer these questions first so we can better help you and take a pic of your roots and bubbles
What is your Res temp?
What is you PH?
what is your PPM/EC?
what kind of light?

im not around to take a pic atm but the roots appear to be healthy and pretty white, the bubbles aren't crazy but they seem to reach the edges. its a 400w hid with formula x2 at 3 tsp per gallon, and the pH comes out yellowish-orange, which seems to be around the 5.5-6.5 and i haven't checked the res remp

u need meters to solve it. what type of water are u giving her because if it is from the tap u need to measure it to make sure your water is not hard. ppm/ec is nuts so if it is to high it is nut burn or if your ph is off u could have a lockout here is a graph hope it helps, but with ph u want 5.5 and run it too 6.2 and the back down.

EDIT: i keep my res temps at 67 dont let it get any higher than 70. a picture of your roots will help me out

EDIT2 : personally it looks like def not nut burn and that might be the ph, u need a meter so we can help u because it is guess work and if u raise your nuts in-case it is def u just fryed your plants

To be honest, if ur a 1st time grower, I wouldn't recomend a hydro set-up, if u don't even know that u should have a ppm meter, and use sumptin besides litmus paper or a pool tester to check ur ph ur not ready for some of the difficult and very unique problems that can occur with a hydro set-up, my suggestion is to switch to soil for ur next grow cause it can be very complex to run hydro especially if u've never even grown in dirt.

Sorry I don't wanna sound like a dick and sayin ur an idiot, its just that I mean dirt acts as a buffer, in hydro there is no buffer, so whatever mistake u make u see in ur plants almost right away, but with soil grows it can protect ur plants so even when u do screw up, you can correct it without killing ur plants off.

hydro is more tricky i 100% agree and he is right any mistake u make the plant bears the mistake. so if your ph is between 5.5 -6.5 that is not a good estimate, my first hydro grow i had test strips that i posted and that works and u can do grows with it but u need a more accurate strips and not the ones u have. BUT U NEED A PPM/EC meter to see if your plants are hungry or feeding them to much. u do this by measuring your ppm daily. so if u go to be and it is 550 wake up it is 580 your nuts are to high or if it is 550 and u wake up it is 549 it is perfect because it is wanting nuts and water in the same ratio. or if it 550 and u wake up it is 520 it wants more nuts :)

with all due respect, its my second time now, this is the diesel i did the 1st time

I didn't want to bs with dirt, i wanted it to come out as best as i could, so i tried, smoked great, smelled great, and now i'm trying to improve, so thank you for the info, i'm just trying to progress and make better bud dude lol if you have any good suggestions for models of these meters, feel free to let me know :leaf:
