This thread is about why moderate Democrats are pretending like they're the most progressive candidates in the field, and why at the same time, media pundits and people like you try to claim that being moderate is the only way to defeat Trump in 2020

If he wins the Democratic primary, he'll defeat Trump by winning Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin

There are 50 states out there. Unfortunately, they aren't all locks like California. And Trump's base voters are easily duped by demagoguery.
I really don't think you have your hands around what it takes to win here. You have to have broad enough appeal to win some traditionally conservative areas.
When Trump calls Bernie a communist, his base won't remember the Russia thing because the media they watch doesn't cover it.
If I were running for president, I wouldn't hire you to work anywhere but California. You're not on top of the pulse of the country.
Edit: Then again, maybe I would send you around the country. You need to see what it's really like in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, etc.
