Why are my bottom leaves yellow? (pictures)

My bottom leaves are yellow. I don't know why. The top ones seem to be doing fine.

I have 4 cfls @ 26W and a grow basket which isolates the light.

2 of them are day light, the other 2 are soft white.

Do you think I need more light? I have 2 plants so far and they're about the same size.

From what i see it could be a nitrogen deficiency but since they are the lowest leaves i would not worry

Definitely replace the soft whites with daylight. and if you can always add more light

Just my opinion

yea that could be it, but honestly, i dont like what you got going on the set of leaves above those, i see some "intervienal chlorosis" which could be a mosh pit of other things, im sure that soil has some nutes in it, make sure your water is PH perfectly, like from 6.0-7.0 no more or less and let your soil dry before you water it again, like make sure the top 3 inches are dry and if its too dry u will see her droop a lil

What exactly is intervienal chlorosis and what part of my plant are you saying is affected by it? Do you think that's because I added some nukes? I added some after 3 weeks of vegging

What type of soil are you using.

I think what is trying to be said is that if you use soil that already has nutrients, by adding nutrients after 3 weeks it would be over doing it

bottom leafs on my plants died, think there just weaker than the newer stronger leafs. was just a very bottom ones, anyways my plants r never better

could of been over watering, your plant looks pretty droopy in the picture. it could also be that it need to be repot. hope your plant stays healthy bud.

you need to start with some grow nutes and that will take care of the deficiencys you are starting to develop

It will soon return .....then take the next layer of bottom leaves then the next.....a problem that takes out a whole set on both sides dosnt just go away it just stops showing signs for a lil while...........CHECK PH.....check the ph of the water you water it with then the run off too porbly your soil is too compacted and a lil over nuted .lol..and sooo yeah youll want to transplant in to a new pot with new soil lots of perlite (alway wash perlite before ading to soil) and then youll have a very ariated soil and your plant can finally breath a lil..

i cant emphasize enough about your PH, preventative maintenance, if it goes too high or low you will get problems like this, this lil issues i believe can be solved really easy but the runoff water need to be tested, at this stage she is using alot of N and the soil might be out of it, i like what greanleaf said, but your plant looks real young and only a few sets of leaves, i wouldnt want to lose the next set of leaves....wait till your next watering till she dries a bit and give her 1/4 strength nutes, PH test water AFTER adding nutes, also what brand soil is that? you can take many different soils upto 6weeks of growth
