ya im definately grabbing a bag of perlite this weekend for my new plants, ha 100% perlite sounds a little too much.. cant an excessive amount cause somethin negative to the plant? or just increase drainage with the more perlite?

This is either over watering/heat stress, you can clone a plant right through till the last few weeks.i would not advise waiting till the plant is in flower but sometime in emergencys you have too.get a fan in there blowing on the plant this will give it abit of fresh air and have the fan inbetween the light and fan to take some of the heat out of the room.go onto the fishtank section of you tube and make a home made co2 gearator.this plant looks alot more serious than it is it is one of the two i would bet money it is overwatering.water thoroughly 2 times a week at most wet the plant through drench it then wait till the top 3 ince is dry then re~water also get a ph tester dude ph of around 5.5/6,5 and a bigger tub the plant may be root bound.

Perlite is inert, sterile, and retains a lot of water... I guess because of it's irregular shape. It's not even the best at what it does in soil (aeration). Coco coir is probably the best aerator you could use for soil, but then you'd probably be better off going 100% coir too. ;-) It's hand watered hydroponics. 2 gallon buckets (Hempy) are fairly cheap and I would rather see you get it done with hydro. :hump: ..... especially if growing indoors.

You won't ever have to worry about compaction either. It would be fairly cheap to automate the whole thing, and you could buy everything you need at the home improvement store if you ever decided to go that route.

There's some really good information about perlite and many many other things in the See-more-buds videos on youtube... Personally, I recommend watching all 3 full-length dvds, which is easiest if you specify on youtube that you're searching for "playlists."

For the info that applies most to your grow, search for "see-more-buds dvd2" in playlists, go to part 5, and start about 45 seconds in. It's almost a perfect match for your single-plant closet grow.

PH YOUR TAP WATER IF ITS NOT FROM A WELL. the leaves that curl down on the edges like that could easily be over-watering with the Ph deficiency.

im definately gonna get a new ph pen cus the kit i have is bogus, the leaves that curled up and what not are starting to get burn spots badly so should i trim off the dying fan leaves? the new growth is all fine, and im gonna definately gonna transplant it into a new pot, this is my first single plant grow, rite now im working on 3 dragons breath seeds and 2 clones i cut off this blue dream plant so ima try and squeeze em all in there and grow em through one of thos string frame dividers i forget the name.

so should i trim off the dying fan leaves?

just thinkin to cut ones like those suckers..
does spraying on carbonated water to the plant for c02 create burn marks from the water drops that rest on leaves?

yea it will cause burn spots if u using hid lights and if the spray aint a fine mist, cut some crappy leafs off if u want they aind much use now, all they doing is blocking light that better leafs could be using,, dond get a bit chop happy dont take to many at a time, i dont like to remove leafs at all until they fall off them selfs, but when i have took them off for a reason a only take about 2fans a day, and only the worst ones on the plant

peace
