I've been taking them out during the day under some shade for the past week or so. I bring them back in at night and put them under some CFL's to complete an 18/6 cycle.did you harden off first
My phone was dead. And why no pics ?
I went ahead and added more potting mix to the base of the stem and it seemed to have worked. I also brought them back in afterwards and they seem to be doing fine. It was colder and windier than usual yesterday, coupled with how stretched and weak they were, so I'm guessing that's why they dropped.Don't move toothpicks unless you have to. If you absolutely have to move them brace them first.
I use popsicle sticks with a pipecleaned wrapped around the top. You make a loop with the
pipecleaner so the stem can't fall over.

The main light is around 10 inches away. I read that 2-4 inches is best but I'm afraid of burning them. They look alright now...just get the light right on top of them
