Wow, that is pricey for what I consider unproven technolgy., digital ballasts are cheaper.
i agree, but i cant use hps or mh right now, so im trying to get the best of what i can use. i will have 1 ufo, and 2 65 watt cfls for my 2 plants, just trying to get some advice on these ufo's...

Why can't you use a mh or hps, a digital 250 watt hung vertically will out produce your cfls and ufo.

I hear ya, I wish LED technology was farther along (less heat, less fans so less noise, lower electricity bills). The Procyon 100 was written up in High Times last year as one of the products of the year or something. At $550 a pop the Procyon 100 and LightBlazer are leading the way. Still, I think they are better for veg than flowering. My prediction is by this time next year there will be several competitors with higher powered LED's appropriate for flowering.

I just got a UFO and love it. It is much larger than it looks in pix's and has enough lite for a 6X6 room. It has it's own fans and if you go to ebay, you can buy a new one for under $200.00. Good luck and have a nice trip.

Do some home work before you buy

I got mine from Pro source, they have a 90 money back guarantee

http://www.prosourceworldwide.com/product_p/jumbo ufo 180w.htm

I was watching this thread

https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/218632-my-90watt-led-ufo-tri.html

And there are other guys other there growing with them, just do a search

And you get what you pay for

Mine was $700 but if I get a couple oz from this grow it had paid it self off

I did not want a HPS or or traditional lights these seems to work

We will see, good luck with your grow
