Why are USA seed banks so expensive?

I'm more curious to know why people are willing to spend so much on unproven undocumented poly hybrid one offs but then I remember tom hill telling people not to give a fuck what the next man is doing and mind my own business.

At the beginning of October 2011, Dutch government made a plan to ban the sale of cannabis with THC content of more than 15%. This proposal would mean that so called Nederwiet, locally grown pot, much more potent than imported varieties as it usually has 30% of THC or more, would be treated as the hard drug and therefore forbidden. This rule, very difficult to enforce and control, remains one of several new ideas to limit the freedom Dutch people have at the moment.

Earlier this year, some Colorado state legislators proposed an amendment to limit THC to 16% in marijuana and marijuana products sold in the state.
Proponents expressed concerns about the effects of THC on adolescent brains, among other health and safety issues.

But their effort to set a THC-limit failed to get enough support. Marijuana industry insiders say setting a limit could fuel the black market. Williams likened it to the end of prohibition of alcohol.
"Those types of actions would be similar to saying we can't have alcohol on the shelf other than beer, and people who don't like beer, that want spirits, that want wine, are going to have to make it themselves," Williams said.

I agree, most of the seeds you buy if you trace them back the genetics come from USA. Here's an example. I bought 4 packs of CSI for 400.00 A 100.00 pack. I can buy a pack of Sannies Sugar Punch for 40.00 or Escobar Oxacan,Purple Storm or Aztech Rain for 35.00 a pack.. Devils Harvest Casey Jones, Shoreline or Strawberry Diesel for 30.00 .They are just as good or better than the CSI. I've been to Colorado and smoked what was some of the shops top shelf. No better then what I'm growing.

You havent grown devils harvest shoreline have you? Every plant i ran hermed at week 4, footballs everywhere crappy smoke and leafy as hell. Got like 80 s1s that ill gladly donate to u if i can find them
