Why arent my outdoor plants budding?

ok, i got little over 20 plants in northern indiana outside in the woods, but i cut down a bunch of trees so they get as much light as they can possibly get. I planted them early may and as of now, 7-17-09 they still haven't budded and i'm kinda gettin worried. theyre all about 2-3 feet tall with a lot of leaves and none of those white pistil things. i know they cant all be males. think someone can help?

the days are just starting to get shorter. you should start seeing preflowers soon, but outdoor plants don't start flowering until august or even september. average harvest time is in mid-october

yea they will bud wen there ready especially out dorr. dats da buety of indoor growin ,,, u choose wen u want it to flower

A little patience Muff. I started my 18 plant, patio/greenhouse grow in March. Some are over 8 1/2 feet now & only showing sex signs, no flowering yet. I figure 1st budding in approx 2 more weeks.

It could also be because you have an indoor strain or a strain that has been used indoor. This means that the particular strain that you are growing is use to a more dramatic change of the photoperiod and has trouble sensing the slow change of the photoperiod outside. I have done the same thing myself and I had to bring the plants from outside to an indoor room because it was going to snow. Most outdoor strains will have little pop-corn buds on them by the end of july.

gary is ghetto has hell.

im in chicago and my plants are stll not budding to some males has showed so its only a matter of time. they should be budding by late this month so dont trip. im thinking this year we will have a mild winter so we can let them ripen into nov. we already have had record breaking rainfall this year. its all good in the midwest.

You still have another month or two. The plants are still veggin. Here in another month you should be seeing the flowers, unless it is a long flowering sativa.

because the light schedule hasnt changed your looking around sept and thats when you should lose 1 hr by then of light

yea i seen some shit on somewhere that we might not even get any if that much snow

I have some plants in south west michigan, two sativas and one early flowering indica. The early flowering plant started growing hairs the first week of August. My other two haven't shown any signs of flowering yet. I really hope it's warm into November

My two plants still aren't budding or even growing pistils. They are either Sour Diesel or White widow, I forgot to label when I planted clones.I know they'll start budding soon, but do I have any chance at these plants fully maturing? Is it possible to leave plants slightly after frost?

hey sorry i never replied, buy u guys were right. its all good now. since they budded a little late would that mean it will take longer till harvest???
