Ya, I like premixed stuff too. I use the Craft Blend from BAS sometimes. Last time I bought the bucket. The Gaia sounds good, I've just heard that it's a little hot.

You can't just add it to the plant you need to let thr microbes in the soil break down those amendments for a month or so before using the soil.
That's what I meant, adding those 6 cups in total organic dry amendments to my homemade soil to just sit for a month. That's what I'm asking.

I would still plant it initially in something without many additives like a happy frog or seedling mix and then up pot after maybe 2 to 3 weeks.
why don't I just use compost mixed with coco and perlite for the top 2/3 of the container and then the bottom 1/3 being my homemade super soil? Would homemade compost (which is vermicompost mixed with some kicten scrap compost and mixed with peat and perlite and sitting out for a month) by itself be good enough for an autoflower seedling to germinate and grow well into it's veg stage and then when it gets to pre flowering it reaches the super soil? Would that work?
I personally have not tried anything like that but the theory is sound. Let us know how it works!
