Why didn't this plant stretch?

A friend gave this plant to me when it was 32" high. From the small pot it was in I put it into a burlap sack to grow outside. It vegged for about a month and did not grow vertically at all, but it began to get really bushy and showed signs of preflower, so I potted it into a container that I can move in and out of my darkened shed, for 12/12. Still no stretch but the buds look awesome. How do they look to you guys? Kellwood.....DSC07766.JPG DSC07761.JPG DSC07762.JPG

they look good mate, could be a indica dominant strain, they grow short and stumpy, also is your shed complete darkness?
when outside, the moon/star light makes them stretch a bit.
Don't go putting them outside tho man, hermie land, they're looking really nice, keep as you are.

it would depend on the trainer , but if the trainer isnt doing their job fire them . dont want to pull a hammy.

Why care why? It looks good and you simply don't know where exactly your friend was with it.
