I think you guys may be thinking about this a little differently then i do...
Last year i had 2 different outdoor sites, one in the mountains, and one by a lake somewhere. The mountain site was completely eaten after i transplanted in the spring because of the damn deer, they ate it quick to. The site next to the lake, i had ZERO plants eaten by deer, and thats crazy because there were way more deer next to the lake. One day a hunter spotted me from his tree stand, we both saw eachother, im sure he was wondering wtf i was doing in there...but thats when it hit me..
The deer didnt find my plants i think because of a couple reasons. First, i was far from any deer trail. When you look at the brush, you can see where the deer roam, and lay down. I stayed far away from those deer trails. Also, i had planted in a location that was surrounded by over growth, and different kinds bushes/shrubs and blackberries. I beleive that if the deer even walked over to my spot, they wouldnt even care about it because of how many other plants are in the area that they are used to eating.
Maybe instead of pissing on ur plants/grow site plant "diversion plants" that deer enjoy eating...get them full of something else they wont eat ur plants
