Why do OWS protestors fly the hammer and sickle?

I think May Day became the International Workers Day late 1800s. The Hammer and Sickle represent this movement much more than a US flag would. Showing a workers of the world unite sentiment is fine as long as nobody connects the dots. Showing those flags would connect dots.

How can you take a single person in a movement and define all of them as the same thing? Sounds ignorant to me
 
Why do the Teabaggers bring guns and scream about taking their country back? Why do they use the Gasden Flag instead of Old Glory? Why do they have do much racist imagery and rhetoric on their signs and in their speeches?

I don't remember any racist rhetoric coming from them. I do remember hearing conservatives support slavery and denounce it as a good thing. I do remember then demanding that racial profiling take place. I can't seem to understand where you are getting your claims from.

I never heard of that guy, what office is he running for? Does he have some sort of platform? Is he on the radio or tv?

Or is he just some random lunatic that both parties could post videos of all day if they are weak minded and losing arguments.

that was scott terry, run of the mill right wing political activist, accompanied by matt heimbach, founder of the "white students union" at his university, a white nationalist group with neo-confederate ties.

he is running for no office, but he does support rick santorum's group, "patriot voices". his platform seems to be white nationalism, neo-confederacy, blacks as subservient to whites, that black people should vote in africa (not america), and a strident activist in ending the "systematic disenfranchisement" of white voters.

of course, he was made famous by attending a minority outreach event at the conservative political action conference. go figure.

i'm so glad that he and so many others like him are firmly on your side, and not ours.
