Being a father, I liken growing cannabis to raising kids, primarily girls. With the proper care, love, and attention to them, they will ripen to become beautiful creatures!
Growing is by far the best hobby, albeit a secret one, I do get to share with my best friend, my wife. It helps her with PMS and Migraines as well as with a long list of medical conditions which I suffer from. Although I have a cabinet full of "prescription" medications, I no longer need them, as my girls provide all the relief and peace I need!
I also live in a place with no peers and am not about to go asking strangers for some bud!
If it were up to me, everyone would be encouraged to grow at least one plant to fruition, it's the best thing that has ever happened to me!

I just love weed and have been fascinated with it and it just made to much sense to not not grow and + i live in Cali where were kind of having a Marijuana movement lol

Simple, I like smoking weed everyday. Weed is expensive, and of inferior quality for the most part on the 'black market'. It fills one with a sense of pride when you've got an 8g, stinkin, crystal laden bud sitting on your coffee table ready to be demolished, knowing it was you that made that lovely specimen. Not to mention if your grade is superior, and you feel like making a little profit to go toward something nice, you can sell a little.
It also helps me sleep at night, provided I don't fall asleep on the sofa and wake up with a stiff neck that is.
