Why does everyone harvest their C99 so early? and Looking at trichomes through telescopes.

You have to remember that breeders sift in their own environment which could be vastly different to yours. A breeder sifting phenos outdoors in California may be way different than an indoor environment in Florida. So take breeder timelines with a grain of salt. I'd like to see more breeders list their environment specs for the strains they sift because over many generations that plant will adapt more to that environment which can throw timelines off for almost everyone else. Even a breeder sifting out door in Cali by the coast will have different results if another grower in Cali was growing in the valley.

I also got this shit-ass bunk pheno that was variegated . I kept it cause I hoped it would turn out good but it was shit!
these seeds were from Growers choice. I've talked to other growers and theses aren't really "real"c99 seeds. I guess that goes for alot of shit!

gonna keep poppin stuff for now. Hopping around to a few breeders one at a time to test their shit. maybe in 5 years I'll know what I like :)
What kind of loupe did u use to get them pics so close

ooh i saved my first c99 grow trich pics. I think i harvested some 1 week or 2 after, then the final 1/2 - 1/4 after 3-5 weeks after these pics.
Turned out nice! But I think my genetics or something may have been off'
What kind of magnifying glass did u use to see them trichomes that good

What's to say.. Bottom half came down a week later. The good bud weighed in at 6.5 oz, which I think is pretty good for a single indoor plant. 4.5 from the top colas and 2 from the bottoms. A few (like 7) seeds so far, but idc.

While I like the smell and taste of the strain, it is a very easy going and mental high, not disorienting, no couchlock, not really heavy on the visuals, you can remember stuff for more than 5 min. A good daytime smoke, but it doesn't do it for me medically (I actually started dreaming again because I'm only smoking this rn). Still looking forward to growing it again, it was fast and very easy to grow - tolerant, which is good because I have three different strains going and am too lazy to mix different nutes.

Growing some NYC diesel now, it has lovely purple pistils, and it smells like literal skunk outside my room. I love how every plant has it's own character.

Yes, this is a thinly veiled "Is it done yet" thread. Just curious why I see so many C99 grows on this forum being cut with loads of white hairs. Is it better to harvest C99 earlier or do you think the plant below will put on some weight yet? Was planning on cutting in a few days, about day 60 from flip.

Pictures were taken with a 750mm lens because I didn't want to wait for my phone to charge to check trics. It didn't work out too well as the depth of feild is ~1cm. Pictures below are scaled to 1/4 or a 1:1 crop of the original image. Second post will contain pic of whole plant and pics from a 20x clip on lens for a cellphone that actually show the trichomes because the long lens is almost useless. What do you think, can I cut her now or is a few days not enough?
