why does my dry indoor bud not smell?

I have three bagseed plants amd they are in week 8 of flowering but three days ago i cut a buf off and let it dry but it does not smell like weed but it is great when smoked. Why doesnt it smell like weed?

Did you grow it to smell it or to smoke it?

Some strains and phenos smell more than others, that's all

curing brings out the smell a quick dry bud isnt going to smell right until after cure

Strains like northern lights don't smell much, and still gets you pretty high

If your bud dried too fast it really doesn't matter how or how long you cure it, it will smell like dry hay always. If it's dried slow enough but not yet cured then you may salvage the smell/taste by jarring it up for a few weeks to a month.
