Why have I lost interest in weed?

For 2 years I've been your basic smoke weed everyday pothead and LOVED IT. My only decent hookup is gone and when I ran out...I just didn't care.

I've heard other people talk about taking breaks sometimes, but that's never been my deal. Is this what it's like - you just lose interest for a while? Does it come back?

Sorry guys, I'm just freaking about the sudden loss of interest.

I find that in life you must enjoy things in moderation. You have probably lost interest because you've weighed the pros and cons of wasting money on a shitty connect versus smoking shitty weed. You made the proper choice. Just stop smoking. It's good for you.

Everything is good in moderation.

Definitely part of the equation. A friend smoked me up with mids and all I have to say is that shit is a total waste of time. You have to be a retard to pay $50 for a sack that tastes & smells like (not literal, ACTUAL) shit and gets you kinda high for 20min.
Cuz you aint growing. Thats why
Nope. I have before, have some quality beans & all my grow equipment in storage. Zero desire to start up again.

I think that may be a part of it too.

OK, that's comforting. This is honestly what I was looking for someone to say!
you should get off the zoloft bro

it's giving you mood swings
Haha, I love you Sr Verde, you're hilarious man. No mood swings though, and no other drugs for me except my precious precious caffeine. I will murder people if I don't have it.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to use this opportunity to do some worry-free job hunting. Save a spot in the rotation for me!

Eff it. If you don't want to smoke or have no desire to smoke, then don't force it. Be happy you are content with just being sober.

I've quit for years at a time. But it usually started with not being able to get weed and then evolved in to having no desire to get any. But then after awhile, the boringness of daily life reminds me why I love smoking weed in the first place. So I always come back to it.

Dont worry about it. I quit for 12 years and it did not kill me. I did not miss scummy dealers or crappy weed in the least bit. It just got old.

Now I have the growing bug, I love my veggie garden, I get exercise and vitamin D. Growing MM is almost like have a baby. You really want to take care of them and love them.

You probaly have other things going on in life. Follow those and when the time is right you will crave again, or not.

best wishes regardless of the path you choose

yeah +1 to what everyone else said about tolerance...

you need to /know/ what you want out of cannabis. if you don't, you will expect it to dazzle you like it used to and after a while it wont do that anymore... you need to realize how you want to use it for the long term unless you wanna keep going through this binge purge cycle...lol

I mean there are ways to maintain your tolerance with only taking one to 3 hits per session and stopping for hours... but this requires set principals in your head for /why/ you're using cannabis... if you just want to get high this is probably not gonna work for you... if you're managing pain or a mood then it could ilkely work... you just gotta realize that this is a drug and it has a very unique place in everyone's life.
