Why is growing such a fun hobby?

To tell you the truth, I'm not even that big of a smoker, but growing fascinates me. I've read just about everything I could on the subject. Since the end of winter, I spent a good bit of my free time preparing my guerilla grow for this year. Just isn't the same as growing tomatoes :smile:

Don't know if it is the danger involved, but why is growing so exciting?

i think it may be so exciting because of the adrenaline you get. Or because the plant goes through so much change throughout its life and its up to you to take care of itn Kinda like a baby. LOL ALso the bragging rights to say yeah i grew this when your smoking some fire.

Well, it's just a fascinating plant to watch grow. I don't know if you have ever watched "Weeds" but there was a scene where the gal and dude talking for awhile all sexual and shit and than She asked "well, what do you want to do now?" Instead of slamming her right there he took 2 chairs and placed them facing the grow and they both sat down and watched it grow. That's how fascinating grows are. The satisfaction of seeing something from a seed mature into some fuck u up shit!! This is ALMOST equal to sex. IMO

I swear they should have a high school class called "Applied Biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics and electronics" and use MJ growing and all that goes with it. We would have many more engineers as a result !!

Sometimes I baby my plants instead of smoking, I find it equally enjoyable/relaxing, just in a different way.

Well if I put as much time into trying to get laid as I did planning this grow I think I would be the town sex god by now, lol.

You make a good point, it does require a lot of science. I think they could teach a college level course on lighting alone!
