Why is it you cannot cure in Freezer bags?

Actually you shouldnt cure in freezer bags, as freezer bags actually do breathe. You can pickup glass jars at walmart for under $10. i actually just picked up another set today 12 jars for $9.44 was the biggest they had, but they have 4 sizes and range from $5.67 - $9.44

freezer bags are not air tight. I use gal pickle jars. Lil bleach in the lids and glass smell is gone after it sits in the sun for a day

I'm testing CO2 release coffee flavor keeper jars with my next curing. Should be pretty interesting.

i cure in 1/2 pound baggies once its dry i place them in there every day i open them up and tumble it around leave open for 1 hr then close up every day

hmm id rather use glas jars than baggies the crystals would stik to the sides and creases

couldnt u use them big plastic sweet jars u get in corner shops with sweets in?

Wouldnt that be just as good as Mason jars?

"Glass, ceramic, metal and wood containers are the best for storing marijuana. Unlike many plastics, they have no electrical charge that attracts the glands, and they are air-tight. Nonetheless, plastic containers are used to store marijuana."
Ed Rosenthal

yea seems to work what i normally do is trim buds place on screens for 72 hrs then place them in a bag for 12 hrs then back on screens for 24 to 48 hrs then bag em opening them up once a day for a while untill there gone :)) i know its not the right way to actually doing it but its works fo me could you imagine curing 50 pounds :))

probably turkey bags, if your deadset on it, go buy a couple boxes of ziplock giant bags, they should be right nest to the regular sandwhiche bags, but fair warning, yourll probably have some ugly lookin squashed nuggins
