Why is my plant starting to look like a bonsai tree?! *Day 16 Flower*

It seems as if my stalk has grown even longer now after 16 DAYS OF FLOWERING! It seems as if my buds are growing correctly but nearly all of my lower fan leaves have disappeared and it looks like a damn Bonsai tree :eyesmoke:! Is this normal? What kind of strain do you think this is? My buddy (who I got the seed from) grows this exact plant and none of them ever have came out looking like this (atleast not what I've seen), they're usually short, bushy plants with a donkey d*ck main cola and mad long buds. (He calls the strain "Fruity Loops Kush" because it literally taste like fruity loops after you blow out - no BS!) Mine seems as if it could do either one, either run up the branches and attach with the main flower making long thick buds or flower in different spots all over the branches making a bunch of popcorn buds....

Lemme know what yall think, I believe I will get a GOOD yield out of JUST this one plant. I have a clone in veg following up right now from this plant! This "bonsai plant" right here has TONS of flowers and crystals and (turning amber) hairs - EVERYWHERE! It's ridiculous, like a bush with wicked looking grow spots on a crooked stalk! Never have grown, nor seen a plant look like this.... again, this is my first indoor grow from start to finish though!

Maybe I didn't do to shabby after all huh?? ;-)

I WILL ADD COMMENTS OVER EVERY PICTURE/SET OF PICTURES OF THE SAME THING!

Here is the "tree"...

Here is the tip top (main cola) of the plant... what I think willl be my MAIN BUD!

Here's what's growing RIGHT UNDER my main cola....

And the rest are all just free for all's all over the plant.... CHECK OUT ALL THE LIL HAIRS/GROW SPOTS UNDERNEATH MY MAIN FLOWERS THOUGH. YOU THINK THEY'LL CONNECT??

FEEDBACK PLEASE ON THE QUESTIONS I ASKED PLEASE! NEED YALLS HELP - or maybe I don't? lol ;-) jk

It wads stretch and get taller as the flowering process goes on. And yes those little buds under the main top one will swell up and join together with the top, making it look like 1 fat nug.

You think I should raise the lights or keep them where they are? They're about 2-3 inches from touching any grow spot. Or should I lower them and get them as close as possible? I feel like the hotter it is for the plant right now and the more nutes and water I give it, the better it grows. Maybe it's just me, just seems that way.....

As long as its not burning the top. Cfl right? 2 to 3 inches I'll cool, I don't use cfl tho. When it's hotter it drinks faster to hydrate, but my. It pick up all the nutrients and you can get a build up of salts. Keep temps in the safe zone.

It was burning the tips there for a while because it hit a HUGE growth spurt for about a week! Every morning I would wake up to a burnt tip!! It healed itself up though and I raised the lights, which yes.... are CFL's and a T5 in the back. It gets up to a good 80 degrees in there sometimes. I have one 5in fan coming in and one 5in fan going out, that stay on even during the dark periods, it's pitch black with just the wind on them during that period of the day (or should I say night?)! I can't really understand what you're saying about hydrating, nutes and salts.... I know about all of these but maybe it's just me, your sentence seems a bit "scrambly"....?

Hey man, DIGG your grow!
I have five seedlings under 5 CFL's and under one 100w sylvania bulb, and I have a bunch more 100w bulbs that Im thinking Ill need during flowering.
I have great air flow 1 intake fan and one speed adjustable exhuast fan.
Should I keep them under all my CFLs during flowering, or switch to my 100ws or combine the two during flowering.
What nutes would you recomend for both stages. Im still only about a week in with my seedling, and they seem to not mind all that light, although Im not sure if its to much.
Im kind of just feeling out my first indoor grow with nothing but what I have.

Use "daylight" CFL's for vegging and "Soft White" for flowering. You should have around 8-10,000 lumines per square foot of grow space, sounds like a lot but you want your baby to get penetrated by light and CFL's are not particularly good for this, so hang them all around the plant. (If you still are just at sprouts then none of this is very relevant other than the lumines per square foot). Here's what u do bro...

Once you have your grow room set up (I already told you what types and lumines to use - they both say the two specifications on the box) get some ALL ORGANIC potting soil like "Fox Farms Ocean and Forrest" or you can make your own growing medium like me. I went to McDonald's Nursery and got their brand of organic soil, used 75% of that, 15% organic peat moss, the last 10% I added organic (I think organic - if not then just perlite) perlite. To top off the mixture I went and got some horse manure and mixed in about a cup, this was all in a 3 gallon (finishing size) pot.

Next you want nutes... stay away from anything not organic!!! Use any kind of organic nutrients, preferably Fox Farm products again! Here's a look http://www.cdgrowlight.com/FoxFarm , I used something else (something from Miracle Gro that was "for plants that love lime" because MJ plants do just that... love lime!) But for flowering I used Fox Farm Tiger Bloom. Just read up on what your plants needs for different things, its all over the web! Google is your best friend, some people on this site can be your best friend, others can call you a newb and be complete pricks.... you have to weed em out, just like the plants you grow that have DICKS!

I personally think ur plants look just fine! just watch those cfls with the tops, ur stems seem to be pretty red (normal with some plants) if ur friends plants are not red u may need to check a few things, ph? nutes? and in some cases it means stress to the plant? I personally think u will have a great harvest when the time comes. The reason leaves may be falling off the bottom is cuz lights are not hitting those leaves, and also prob not as much good air flow? who knows but any way it looks good my friend!

I called and asked him, he says he get's red in this strain sometimes - mostly on the leaf stems though (like mine hehe)... he actually said it usually does on his "good plants" lol, then he called me a "bastard!" lol. Foreal!

But thanks for the compliments!!! I accept all reps, I NEVER get them. Hell, don't even know if I have any and I think I do a "proper" job on this entire forum! Anyways, thanks and PEACE!!!
