why is my soil so hard ? help please

Hey guy im in the my foruth week of flowering,i went to stick my moisture meter in the soil and it was hard as a rock all the way thru what should i so ?

well its hard from lack of moisture. and i think i could assume that there is clay minerals in the dirt hence making it hard. i could be wrong though but that sounds the best. i know if the dirt is too dry it will turn hard but from the way ur talking its super hard

if your gonna transplant soon add some soil and a handfull of sand to help with drainage

dude first of all what soil are you using??

take a metal coat hanger and gentally poke aunch of holes in the soil this should help reak up your soil and get more air to your plants roots.
