MG is ok... it's great for veg but your yeild will lack with mg... you need to add bud blood too help increase yeild... Let your plant talk to you... it'll let you know when you need to add nutes. when it comes to nutes LESS IS MORE. stay high

So, do nutrients in soil get used up quicker if you top, fim, or LST? I ask, only BC I have a 5 gall poy 20 in diameter, I'm LSTing one WW, and as of today have just under 30 tops...so....I went ahead and ordered the FF 6 pack for soil...any recommendations on when to admin with the mg soil? And what strength? I know there us a feed sched online, but I assume that's for FF soil...nit mg soil...

How long the MG nutes last is really a case by case thing. Topping or LST in and of themselves is not going to use nutes faster, but obviously a bigger plant will use up nutes faster than a small one. I've used MG a couple times in the past. It seems that the nutes start to run out after about a month. I would normally never add nutes while in veg. Then start adding a bloom nute mix during flowering. I've never used the combo of FoxFarm and MG soil. I can tell you that it is nearly impossible to burn your plants with FF Big Bloom. I use it at a rate of 1/4 cup per gallon every watering. I guess that's the whole problem with MG soil, you really don't know what's left. I guess you could test the soil.

Is this the amount of time (average) you have experienced the nuts in mg soil to dissipate?

i used the organic stuff
for my first time
wassent bad at all
just the ants u get from all that sugar water.

if you veg. for about a month then the plant has most likely used all the nutes .i use mg bloom booster at flower 1/2 teaspoon per gal. i have done five harvests and 4 strains with good results.in your case i would start at half recomended dose of your fert.

I'll never use MG or support the establishment.

Dmn, dude...Monsanto? That sounds like it could be used for evil purposes...and Scott's is ridiculous...how do I gi about transplanting from a 5 gall pot filled with mg soil and erlite into say...a 5 gall pt with FFOF...also, how much stress will my lady go through during this process...I started to flower two days ago, btw...again, smomebros, a wonderful, informative, and helpful post...+rep...yet again, my friend!
