In a vertical grow, yes. The poster never established that until someone else suggested it was the only reason you would want a round room. Start back at the beginning and read the rather mundane OP and his first couple of follow ups. I believe he was starting the post to be a smart ass, but it ended up developing into a vertical grow discussion.
As for your reference to dumbass, square feet has EVERYTHING to do with quadrilaterals. Do you know what one is? Square footage can be calculated for any shape, including a circle, however please show me where, anywhere in growing guides, books, pdfs, or any website for that matter that discusses the square footage of circles, or determining the size of your grow area by using a circumference and a radius. You won't find one. Everyone writes about growing inside and defines a growing space by width, length and height to determine cubic feet and just the width and length for square footage.
Yes most of my responses in here are asinine, see above for the reason. For a page or two, they were discussing using a dome of all things.... another brilliant idea thats going nowhere.
Before you call someone a dumbass, make sure that your response won't make you one. For your fucking information, we have already discussed a vertical grow as a feasible reason to try a round grow area. If you weren't in such a rush to toss names about and had read the entire fucking thread before responding stranger, you would of known that. I lurked these boards for nearly two years and have read just about every damn growing guide that is out there. Does that make me smarter than you? No, but the fact that I kept my mouth shut until I knew what I was talking about certainly does.
You should try it.
