Why the huge difference in PPM readings!?2 pens, I'm so confused...

I bought a new ppm meter for my new tent and decided to compare the two readings to one another today. One brand is "Hone Forest" and the other is "pancellent". Both have same specifications per their owners manual and both show very different results from one another. I'm not sure how to move forward now. Any explanation on this? Which one is right? It seems the "pancellent" one is reading just about half of what the "Hone forest" one is telling me. Any help would be damn appreciated.
Mahalo in advance~

You sure one isn’t displaying EC, that’s double ppm? I see it says ppm but just a thought... might be worth testing in a solution with higher ppm’s see if it’s still around half

EC is a measurement of electrical conductivity...ppms is a value based off TDS ...which is all based off a microsiemens....which is based of alkalinity, salinity values....welcome to basic chemistry for agro science
Your spot on, I was more thinking a display being confusing, maybe the half value was just by chance and calibration is off. My pancellent pen displays EC at double the TDS reading (0.5 ppm scale). Be nice to know the result as I thought my cheap little pen was pretty good for the price, maybe not haha

Yeah I'm thinking the calibration is off, I'm going to grow store tomorrow to buy a pricey bluelab. It's a cash crop. I can't risk not utilizing one of the best parts of running DWC to me which is being able to be intimately involved in how much my girls feed or don't feed etc.
