It was sad... this morning on two... TWO news networks they interviewed the lady that tried to hit him with her purse. 90% of the conversation was about why her mother or grand mother gave her the purse (the reason was it was too big for her... lol). Literally wasted about 6 minutes talking about her purse and not what she did...

The need for teachers is one big lie...sure we need more teachers...however there is no money to hire them, so we increase class size...In California, they added 5 "furlough" days (sorry in my local district not statewide) to not have to fire more teachers...class size now 37. For every full time teacher position in the district I work in there are literally hundreds of qualified applicants...the ones that get hired are generally 25ish, female, and easy on the eyes...they will then be pregnant after the two year probation. New Teachers get pink slipped automatically for about the first 4 years...then if they did not go postal on the school board, they are rehired in August...talk about stressful! This woman had no chance of getting hired again (does not mean that her husband should go shoot at people) because of the big lie for the urgent need for new teachers in the community and the University.

That being said...LA Unified will take warm bodies with thick skin or body armor.

And According to the power point on local governments shown to Seniors last week on the structure of Government School Boards fall under "Special Districts" and are, although lower than "Township", a form of local government.

It's the oldest troll tactic in the book. Respond with a ridiculous opinion that is in no way acceptable in normal society. That gets normal folks like you and me up in arms and we say something like "What the hell is wrong with you?", at which point the shit slinging begins. I noticed how he tries to turn the tables on you accusing you of harassing him for his "opinion". Freedom of speech gives him the right to speak his mind. It doesn't give him the right to be immune from criticism for his opinion. That's the thing with rights. They come with responsiblities. We're losing those rights in this country, in part, because nobody wants to take any responsibility. NOB's attitude is symptomatic of what's wrong with society today. He wants the right to speak his mind but doesn't want anybody to criticize his views and when someone does he cries foul. That ain't how it works my friend.
