Wildlife Tip

My friend recently had a problem with deer and squirrels getting into his fenced crop so I gave him a pretty evil tip:
Make a bag of popcorn then cover it all with cayenne pepper and lay it outside the perimeter of your crop.

It sounds cruel, but seeing squirrels do backflips is better than seeing them eat your babies and fall off of trees (both of which I've seen, but it was also a bubblegum garden a different friend of mine had, so a butt load of things wanted in).

I tried that once in my own garden (not a pot garden, mind you), but the coyotes around here are daring as hell.

So even squirrels like to eat MJ? I don't know how I'm going to keep raccoons and squirrels out. I guess I'll pee and wipe some duke all around the site.

might sound creepy. but human Hair works just as well too. a long time ago a farmer i knew (not weed) used to get it from barber shops and sprinkle it around his fence. the smell of Humans keep the critters out. We must stink.

Boiled wormwood tea works wonders around your crops. It smells bitter and tastes 1000x more bitter, so animals hate it.
