ok so i been vegging 7 plants indoor under a few 1000watt MH there about 6foot tall and i plant to put them in a green house out door in another month it will be ready, by that time they will be over 8ft high. the problem is it will be in the middle of winter so ill only have about 10 to 11 hours of light, i am installing gas heating for the temps so that wont be a problem, and the green house has an anti frost cover.

Basically i want to know will the 10 to 11 hours of light be ok? will my yield be reduced or will it take longer to flower? is there a chance they wont survive? is there anything else i need to consider?

it would be ok usually 10/14 i heard of people doing that around last weeks of budding to increase size of buds , so it should be fine for 10/14 so i wouldnt see a problem, as long as its 10-11 light it shouldnt reduce bud infact may increase or just keep it average but i know its not really at all bad so

i actually have a book from ED Rosenthal and he covers this subject pretty well but ill cut it down for you ... he says that by having your lights on 10 on / 14 off your plants will actually mature faster but will have less yeild and 12/12 well thats the desired light cycle for obvious reasons
