Just make sure the temps can be kept down and have good extraction set up.

Just use your 6" extractor fan to exhaust the air and if the room is sealed a 4" fan will do for an intake.
I only use a 5" RUCK fan for extraction and let the room vent its self through opening the room door and 2 oscillating fans. 1 for blowing on the plants and a larger one to blow around the whole room. So you only really need an extractor fan for your set up for extracting air from the room.

rep my man ... my area is alot smaller than your also. But i had the same thought of just using exhaust mostly. I would exhaust from the socket of the cooltube or at the beginning of the bulb? sorry this is my first hid. I'm very fuucking excited. How many plants would you use for a 2x4x5 area ...alot of questions ...
thanks my man

I use a 400w HPS and my space is 36" by 32" and 8ft in height and i dont use a cooltube as that small fan you see on the wall points directly on to my lamp keeping it cool.
(4 good sized plants for your space will be fine i can do 6 in my space).
You want to extract the heat as near to the roof as possible as the hot air always rises to the roof of any room. If you have a cool tube you should be extracting from the outlet end of the bulb.
This is one of my finished plants in that space. I planted 10 seeds and got 4 males so i managed to get 6 like this.

The number of plants depends on the size of the plants. The tent is big enough to do a sog of dwarf plants. The optimum distance of your light from the plants is 8 inches. You can't put the light too close to the top, so you're going to be left with something under 4 feet of growing headroom. I've been looking at Attitude Seed Banks' "Porno Seeds Cate Harrington Feminized". These plants mature at any height between 7 inches and 21 inches. At this size they can probably be grown to maturity in 6" or 8" pots, meaning that you could handle 20 with no trouble. Then there's my white widows, I have 6 plants that you could handle if you tied them down carefully.

Happy growing.
