Will a high THC strain eventually degrade into a high CBD strain?

None of that works if you are growing a non-CBD strain. Want CBD, grow strains that contain CBD. Pretty simple and I have some well overdue for flipping so a weird angled semi-vertical ScroG coming to a grow journal near you soon. :)

Oh and CBN won't convert to THC unless subjected to isomerization to chemically reverse the degradation product of THC, CBN.

btw, the World Health Org (WHO) just approved CBD [rollitup link]

But the [actual report] contains this interesting but brief and somewhat vague statement...
CBD can be converted to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) under experimental conditions; however, this does not appear to occur to any significant effect in patients undergoing CBD treatment.

*just shrugs and scratches head* ... but see page 10 in the WHO's PDF for some very fascinating other remarks, including about how CBD -> THC conversion can happen naturally, as well as a patent for the process. Page 18 is fascinating too as it highlights a lot of CBD's benefits :)

Give me a proper nuclear lab and a procedure to follow and I could turn lead into gold too but no one but an advanced organic chemist is turning CBD into THC. Certainly not your average stoner. lol

The stupid arguments gov't geeks can come up with to keep our plants in the dark eh. (Shakes shaggy mane and chuckles)
