Will a Magnum XXXL Fit In a 4x4 grow tent?

so im thinking about upgrading my set up. right now i have a 600 watt yield master II in a 4x4 grow tent. I was thinking about upgrading to a 1k magnum xxxl, but I heard they were huge. Just wondering has anyone ever fit them in a 4x4 grow tent? would they be to big to fit?

Dimensions 6in.: 32½"L X 26¼"W X 7¾"H

Dimensions 8in.: 38½"L X 29½"W X 9½"H
Yes it will fit if you can get it through the door...lol....You will need to vent this hood somehow also so a six inch would most likely serve you better,more room for a fan and a 8 inch isnt really neceserary more like overkill.

yeah i figured by the dimensions that it would fit, but the thing that was troubling me even with a 6 inch, would I have enuff room on the sides for the ducting to fit? I also was wondering where would I place the inline fans to cool it and carbon filter, right now i have my cooling fans and filter in the grow room since i have a small hood currently.

i agree with you there, i have heard dozens of people who say they have cooled their 1000 watters with a 6inch 470 cfm can fan.

inline blower outside of tent sucking thru filter then light then blower. works great for me in my two tents. get the six inch hood also. you wont have room for 8 to 6 reducers.

thats going to be a lot of noise putting it on the outside, plus would pose a problem as far as hanging the fan outside of the tent. how would i hang it outside of the tent? so there is definitely no way the fan and filter could fit inside with the xxxl?

Try building a muffle box for your fan, disguise it as a box of junk. Filter could probably fit inside, use your filter as the intake, and mount in a high corner of the tent, at this point, the filter is taking more or less the same room as the filter, so you could mount it inside. If you still need to mount outside put a sheet of plywood on top of your tent with a hole in it and mount your fan to that.

Well shit. First I thought this was a question about condoms. I thought maybe you used them as grow bags or something. I'm able to cool my 1000 with a 4 inch in line fan even. You should be fine!

Im not thinking there will be room for a carbon filter in there.maybe with a lil bigger tent you could get 1 in there.Interested on where your gonna go with this keep us posted

The Blockbuster hood is better according to most forum peeps. Also my grow shop also says that the blockbuster puts down the best footprint available for 4x4.

i have a magnum and dont like it,would not recomend buying one,have 2 regular sun system hoods on each side of the magnum the same strain,veg time,and size plants,the ones under the magnum stretched and light airy buds,kept the hood almost right on top of em and still stretched.the girls under the other 2 1000w hps r short fat dense frosty buds,im replacing it next week, live and learn
