Will a male plant still produce dangerous pollen if kept in veg?

What about the little "nuts" at the node? I squeezed one, and there was powdery stuff inside. Was that pollen?

Of course they can drop pollen in veg. Preflowers of the cultivar types are well known for this and now and then I pollinate my girls in veg for a limited seed test utilizing male preflower pollen. Those female preflowers add up on a nice bushy cut in veg.

The more pristine and natural a line is the more you ll see less of this disposition. It is most noted among the early finishing IBL lines and the others faster short season types.. I have African stock that will never throw any pollen unless in bloom for 3 weeks min

If you can keep them from flowering that's fine, I've done that in the past waiting for space to flower the males and collect the pollen. But sounds like you're already flowering.

Don't squeeze the pollen sacks around your plants, that can definitely pollinate a few others. Like already answered the white powder is the pollen. :peace:

Unless you want seeds or collect pollen, kill the males as soon as you find them.
They can drop pollen at any stage.
