Will a Reptile cfls light 5.0 UBV work?

I have a reptile cfls light and it is 5.0UBV and 26w, 0.34a that is being used about a couple inches above the plant. I only have 1, I would like to know how long I should use it #/#. I was thinking 10/14 or 12/12. The plant is only on day 5 so its just a sprout and will be planted outside on week 4. Also I do not have a small fan, but a ceiling fan, will that work if its kept on?
please help me, Thank you.

No, reptile lights emit UVB, and although its debated that its beneficial in the resin production they are not grow lamps, plants will not grow well enough under them, if at all.

Some Phillips tornados cfls are more appropriate, get day or 5600Kish colored bulbs for the First month, one or two should be fine. Keep them close to the plant as you do not want stretch this early.

Google the growers bible or something and check this stuff out. Our plant of choice responds mainly to the blue and red visible spectrums. Ultra or infra light will not aid in normal growth to my knowledge.

You will want 12/12 if flowering and 18/6 if you want to grow it up first. Our plant of choice reproduces when the photoperiod changes, I'd keep your lil ones in veg to make em grow big before sending them out.

they are supposedly good in flower because they are harmfull to the plant, which creates a stressor and helps resin gland production...in veg theres no benifit, your actually hurting them.....too much would kill them (i think)

all that I have is this and a fluorescent 14w lamp. Which one is better? getting different lights are not an option because of were I live. It is either a reptile 26w cfls 5.0ubv, or a solar fluorescent 14w light. it is a tube light.
