Will i be able to use my 5" fan with a 600w hps?

I asked this on the general forum and didnt get an answer In uk terms its rated at 350m3/hr which i believe is about 210cfm... What do you think... will i get away with using it?

Is the fan used with a carbon filter or on intake fan.

If its a carbon filter fan then you can use it, but your going to want to put it on a timer. say like 15 min's on and 3/4 hour off for veg and 30 min on and 30 off for flower. so that it keep's humidity at a correct level. put in a humidity tester, and monitor it.

If using it for intake then your still going to have to take out the stale hot air but it should be fine to leave on...

Dan its to be used as an extractor fan for a grow tent... i have an intake fan that will do 145m3/hr I was just wondering if it will give me enough extraction for a 600w hps?

and yeah it will have a carbon filter on it... was planning on using it with a 5" cooltube?

yes mate. sound's good. should work well with the cool tube's from what i have read...... just be sure to watch your humidity as it will suck your room dry.....
