Will my 2bulb T12 work for my clones?

Somehow I blew the ballast for my 8 bulb T5 and my replacement ballast wont be here for a week. Im transplanting my clones and I was wondering if the T12 will work. Its a 2 bulb 4 foot fixture. I think each bulb is 40-50 watts....not 100% sure. At this point I have no choice but i thought I would ask anyway. Thanx for any help and advice. Happy and safe growing to you all!

Yup its better then zero light.

I vote yes. I used t8's they worked for me.

It will work, T12 is not nearly as efficient than T5, but imo clones are more concerned with whether its day or night than if they have enough light. And for a week my guess is that your just transplanted clones are more concerned with how to grow new roots in their zone than vertical growth than if they are getting enough light.

I've even seen some medical mom/clone/veg rooms run off T12s. Not that I think its a great idea, or even a good idea, but it will work.

Once your new ballast gets here use your T12 for some lettuce or something lol
