No Redd, I'm saying that a draft would be far more fair than collecting the nations poor to do our fighting. If one were to do a study of why the volunteer army has been working, one would see the separation of rich and poor staring them in the face. Because of no education, no available work, young poor people are forced by large (TO them) enlistment bonuses and promises of big paydays. What they get is an all expence paid vacation to Iraq or Afghanistan. If a senators offspring were to be subjected to the same circumstance, I'm pretty sure there would be a lot less war. It was the draft that eventually stopped the Viet Nam War, Have you forgotten so soon, Oh that's right, you were a draft dodger in those days, eh?
